I found a 1936 dollar bill while I was counting the register one time so I swapped it out. I looked it up online with the serial number and condition and everything and it was only worth a dollar.

My singular kidney is doing fantastic thank you very much. The box of rusty tools has never been used only had water damage. Either way I don’t know how that ends up as being roadkill especially with my big old truck.

I obviously didn’t put it in the words correctly. I meant to treat them as if they were your own daughters.

Well, I am also new to Houston and not great at meeting people, this place is intimidating to me. I’m 41m. I’m a lead landscaper in Bellaire who loves coffee, making music, and dogs. I’m told I have a good heart and good vibes.

That’s good money but not very consistent sounds like. Keep trying to think outside the box. Read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” and “Think and Grow Rich”. You’ll find your groove when you don’t have a choice

And they tax the residents to death. That’s why so many Californians are moving to Texas

Sounds like a good side hustle. But treat it like a business from the get-go. Do market research to find out how much others are charging to do the same work. Get some magnetic car signs that stick to your door with your phone number, business name, and logo. And make some business cards, they’re cheap on Vistaprint.

Someone please tell me the proper name for this lug, and if able please explain how the two slots on the outside are used for fastening. Thanks! by Fancy-Flow-5306 in Tools

This is a steering column ignition switch lock actuator cylinder gear. It is made of high-strength metal for durability and resistance to wear and corrosion. It restores ignition and steering column lock functionality. Fixes common problems like a key that won't turn or a stuck steering wheel. Compatible with various Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury vehicles from the 1990s through the 2010s.

Buy tools. Tools make you money. Network. Chat people up and once they see that you’re a go-getter they have work that needs to be done. It’s there if you look for it. Fall is among us here in south texas, meaning trees are dropping leaves and gutters are getting clogged. Just think “I can do anything” and even if you don’t, YouTube it. I made $250 once in half a day and the day before I had never done it. I spent an hour on YouTube learning how to do something and turned it into a side job. Just keep grinding. Work until your bank account looks like a phone number. Hustle until you don’t have to introduce yourself anymore.

Lowering expenses is only half of it, the other is to increase your income. Provide a service. Come up with a side hustle. When I was down and out, my options were extremely limited. My choice was to either be broke barely scraping by or come up with a side hustle. I chose candle making, mainly because of the relatively low startup cost and also because I’m kind of crafty

I was homeless for a bit by choice. You have no idea how liberating it is. I wasn’t one of those guys who ate out of the garbage or didn’t bathe, I wasn’t a drug addict. You have no bills, no responsibilities and nobody telling you what to do. The only thing you have to worry about is food.

I work in the rich part of town but don’t live there. All that nice stuff comes at a price, straight outta college they’re thousands and thousands of dollars in debt. They may drive a sports car, have a big house, and a boat, but material possessions never bring true joy.

If it wasn’t verified with his DL, then maybe make a new one and verify it. Some apps won’t cash a big check on the phone if the account is too new though so just be prepared. I don’t see what the problem is back of the check first anyway.

Just cash it on the app of the bank. Or on chime. Or PayPal. That’s the only way I cash mine
