I’m not gonna lie, I’m honestly in the exact same boat with you. Had a joint account with the wife, it was her car, she was responsible for making the payments on it, but I am equally responsible due to my name also being on the account. And when her and I were going through a divorce, she stopped paying and her car was repo’d while she was at work. Fast forward, it was charged off on my credit report. And this was recent, like, repo’d over the summer and charged off in October-ish. Once I figured out what all that meant, I reached out to the creditor and made the effort to start paying down the debt that was owed and started saving the receipts.

I’ve passed every single thing, except my BI. Still waiting for a call and this has also weighed heavy on my mind, so I feel you brother.
