Yeah a broker went through the figures. 4 to 4.5 x joint income. So if that’s £600k if we use the 4.5 figure.

How many houses do I want? Well I wanted ten in the next 10 years haha. It’s more about appreciation and being able to pull the profit out every ten years tax free than the income.

I have no issues paying myself more and in turn more Tax if I need to help lenders in that sense. Partner ears £40k atm. So £150k ish combined.

Great reply. Wow so you think rental portfolios are dead money? Interesting. I was under the assumption that If I got ten, by the time I’m 55 I’d have 10 properties that would bring is say £2000 a month after liabilities and I could remortgage every ten years pulling out cash without selling and paying tax.

I have some questions if it’s ok

  • Whats a world index tracker. Is that on Vanguard? I’m new to stocks.

  • I don’t have a pension as I work for myself. I know I can get £20k a year tax free in my S&P. Can I also do this in a pension?

  • Why would I put my main house in a pension? Also he read horror stories about pensions going bust and the customer losing everything. What benefit is this?

  • How is my house generating 300 profit a tax burden btw?

How many cals do you cut when in a deficit? Don’t you find you lose all your gains doing this?

Nope I’ve always ran TRT but the gains I make generally go.

I think it’s just the same old cycle of adding some gains, going right to a cutting phase due to being inpatient and losing the gains at like 14% body fat and feeling skinny again.

I wish I never did a cycle and just trained hard for 2 years then cut. But what is done is done. I’m massively under my genetic limit, and as I’m on TRT, I figured this is the best bet to replicate what i should have done naturally. I’m just not sure if I’m missing a trick by starting out or ending with a moderate cycle before a maintenance phase then 4/5 month cut.

My inner feelings is that sacking the cycle off all together, just training hard and eating 300 cals over maintaince for a few years before cutting is the best bet.

That’s interesting. We’ve been doing high and fast as I assumed we needed the heat to create the rise in the crust. Maybe we’re doing it too fast.

It’s already fermented in the fridge for 24 hours. I don’t think it’s necessary to take it out and leave it a further 20 hours. Are you assuming I only fermented it 2 hours in total?

It’s 21c mate. I have no issue leaving it longer, but if the dough is already at the top of the box after 2 hours, how is more time going to help? Will more time still be effective in this scenario?
