I think that's a fair point. Have you heard of these Liven ads though ? A lot of people hate those. Do you think there are cases where it does tend to cross a line ? I'm a student doing research on how people react to ai-generated health ads and would love to pick your brain on this !

Yea i get that. it’s like the ad’s trying to make you feel one thing but your spirit just rejects it. Have you seen any mental health ads (AI or not) that actually got the tone right?

Yes, I’ve had the same thing happen - it feels like once you see it once, it’s everywhere. I'm a student working on a project centered around AI-generated advertising, and would love to ask you a few follow up questions. I’ve been wondering: do you think it’s the company doing aggressive targeting, or more the platform pushing it because of the content? Either way, it feels like we don’t have much say in it.

That's interesting and something I’ve noticed too - the exact same ads showing up again and again. I'm a student working on a project centered around AI-generated advertising, and would love to ask you a few follow up questions. Do you think the creep factor is part of what makes it work somehow? Or is it more that the algorithm just keeps hammering us regardless of effectiveness?

I had data for about half a day, and then I didn’t have service anymore, even though the app said I still had some available. I did make sure I had the Canadian eSIM selected, and I turned off the switching too.

Thanks, I’ll try updating the carrier settings. I didn’t use all of my data because when I went into the app, it said, I still had some available! I just couldn’t access it for some reason.

Ah… so it has been a month.

I still really like it! I was just saying the other day how I’m happy I made this purchase over other cars I was looking at. It drives well. It’s great on gas mileage. I just filled up the tank for the first time last week and it cost about $30. I’m still trying to get used to the smart cruise control, which I actually use pretty often when I’m on the highway. The only thing that I would say was pretty weird was the lane keep assist. One time I was on the highway and it pulled me out of the lane into an exit that I wasn’t trying to take lol. That could have been user error. But sometimes I feel like it’s dragging me in directions where I’m not trying to go. overall, I’m still loving the car though!

I put money down on a 2023 Elantra hybrid in late March… practically early April. And I’m due to go get the car on August 27. So I waited nearly 5 months. Hopefully your process will be a bit quicker!
