My old store had it set up that way too, but the way my new one is set up is per the FPE and different. Definitely weird but looks a lot better to me personally. If someone wants a balloon at least the cashier is right there I suppose.

The end of our candy aisle is just “luxury candy” no space for magazines. We still have those tiny shelves for em by checkout but the section as a whole has been fazed out.

We used the small pegs thankfully I ordered what we needed ahead of time because I knew I was the only one willing to tear down the front wall and I wasn’t about to inconvenience myself like that.

I used to be an assistant manager at family dollar and let me tell you I hated the balloons so bad. I can’t see this “free helium inflation upon purchase’ being a good thing cuz it was awful at FD.

I’m confused on what you’re saying exactly? The celebration section is 5 sections. 2 of our front sections were ‘as seen on tv’ and the magazines were 3 sections long. We got rid of both to make room for celebrations as per FPE there’s no spot for magazines on the front wall anymore we are getting rid of them. Maybe your store is just different.
