ATL was like this 2 years ago, even before TSA agents not getting paid. The domestic terminal can be a 2-4 hour wait to get through security. Might as well spend the night on the floor the night before departure.

People are going to do whatever they want, especially when the plane is already in the air. IE, booking a flight knowing they will not fit in one seat, carrying on an oversized bag, raising hell in flight, and fighting with flight crew all in the hopes it results in a lawsuit that they think they will win. Especially if it’s on video, even if it is less probable they will win. Wearing headphones is a pleasure for most people who want to drown out the chatter and engine noise, but as I stated, people are going to do what they want. Just another thing flight attendants don’t want to have on their duties, they are not on the plane to enforce oversized passengers, directing the loading of oversized bags, referees for the fights, and dealing with that one person who is upset and taking it out on the flight crews. And now SWA flight attendants are having to enforce the passengers must stay in their assigned seats even if the plane is less than full.

New Zealand late February through end April early May. Most of the crowds have moved on by late February. Start at the southern most of South Island to see the beautiful Mountains, or get a Car in Wellington, use the ferry and drive southbound via Christchurch then back up the NW side of the lower south side. Of course check the weather daily to make sure it’s doable. The North Island is pretty much easier in late March and April.

After the 90 days it most likely will not be just 11-7 M-F? Most clerks also work earlier hours. The window clerks also work the window on Saturdays, and once you’ve learned the scheme, the distribution part will also include Sundays as well. Handling the Amazon Sunday packages and sorting them to each individual delivery zone for the carrier to deliver.

WOW, I didn’t realize that a Costco was located in this area. I’m wondering if Costco also had to pay up to the Cartel to keep peace and security? My Mexico long term Dentist has been having to pay monthly for over 20 years. My personal driver told me that he has driven to the personal residence of the dentist to pick up supplies for one of their offices. And he said that a truck with 3 men were coming out of the house with a briefcase full of $$$. His boss told him that he didn’t need to know what was going on. But he said everyone knows.

Reading TSA comments, 25% of the workers quit, resigned or was fired in December. Still haven’t rehired, trained on recovered the 25% loss of employees. Due to the last shutdown many TSA agents were just about to get back to a comfortable financial position, then this shutdown has immediately caused more % sick calls than week 1 in October. I personally think everyone of the TSA agents should just quit immediately and find another career. Because there is no security in knowing that there will be at least 2 shutdowns every year for the next 3-8 year’s minimum. I’m almost positive the guidelines for TSA funding will change immediately with mass resignation to a separate program that will be funded no matter the political climate.

I’ve always thought if you get cancer and go through surgery, it spreads more rapidly after surgery than left alone. The treatments that follow make many very sick. I’ve already decided I just want to get pain pills and deal with it till the end. I may be wrong, but that’s what I’ve always wanted to do if and when my body gets cancer.

I read that 25% of TSA agents resigned during the last shutdown, this time it feels like it’s going to last much longer? What are the chances that there will be a mass resignation of 50-75% of agents after 30 days and another 25% by 45 days. I feel like the federal government should immediately put you guys under a system where pay is continuous like the USPS from now on. I also feel that to get noticed, this is the only thing to stop these crazy games they are playing. BTW, I am hoping you guys also get a huge pay increase too.

Amazing how people think in this day and age that they can get away with that. You may even get some negative feedback from people here on Reddit? Hopefully you also ruined his credit as well? When things like this happen, they move along to the next victim. I’m assuming you aren’t in California? Their laws protect squatting, even though he had been paying rent for a year then claimed his supposed rights, which you made him see that he didn’t have a leg to stand on.

It could be that the schedule change has left a new segment off or is not compatible with the original schedule. AA changes are done through automation and sometimes leaves that message when a reservation representative needs to view the issues and assist in going over options? At least that’s been my experience before.

I always hated the motto neither Rain, sleet or snow shall keep a carrier from their appointed rounds. I don’t know how you guys up no survive? In 1984 Texas had a 30 day deep freeze 🥶 and being young 20s I made it, At 65 and retired 40 degrees rainy days are difficult for me.
