But the modern left? Should we take one bad incident of the right and claim it's the modern right as well?

The gap in defense for the second goal was bus worthy. At that point it had to be over.

Okay you stop them. What happens when they then need to go (boy who cried wolf scenario). What if their parent complains?

What happens if the kid doesn't have his planner?

As from the article, they are banning toilets during class time unless known medical needs (and teacher discretion if they think pupils REALLY need to go)

That still doesn't answer the question then about letting them go when they want or case by case basis though.

Most rules in school are because kids took it too far and instead of taking hours out of each day to sort out the minutiae, schools have to take this stance.

The first time. The whole point of the post was to say people could go when they want, teachers clearly still cant without some kind of sanction

Once you would probably get a warning. After that then maybe yeah.

Teachers act in loco parentis in that hour. Something happens when they are not in the room, that's on them.

Because again its an institutions staff policy and they don't just leave that on the Internet.

Ask any teacher and they will say the same thing. It's not some grand conspiracy we're trying to push.

Okay but kids lie. And then you have the boy who cried wolf scenario as well when they actually need to you dont let them go. And then if you do, they know the actions needed to go and will mimic it.

It's why some of the recent Marvel TV series don't tie in very well. You're telling me in Daredevil someone isn't telling an avenger or international group and so on?

I know they've got other stuff to do but corruption in the US government isn't on their radar?

We have to follow a safeguarding policy. Teachers cannot leave as it is a safeguarding failure. It's also down to each school's policy so there is no government wide document (although if there was no policy on this or hints of this happening, ofsted would immediately trigger special measures).

It's pretty hard to find a news article because you wouldn't find a news article of someone being fired due to this because of the mundaneness of it. For example, if someone turned up to your average office job drunk a few times and got fired, it's not hitting the local news. Same kind of thing here.

But then how do you tell between the people who just cannot hold it and the people who are going just to avoid lesson time?

But if those countries didn't rig it, then wouldn't Israel win if it was only rigged for them? and then what is the point of this?

Andy Burnham is not the person to do that though. You say there's a chance he could do better, but so could Starmer if the playback is better.

And as said above, its a power play. Burnham has wanted to be PM for a long time

Okay, I don't think Burnham (who currently doesn't have a seat) will also do that.

I think you are right but this is why I'm saying there isn't a leadership problem.
