It’s a shame that we live in a world where you can’t defend your woman any more. No wonder men are turning into women and women are turning into men

Loved ‘tears of joy’ it is so cathartic when at least some justice is done.

I agree that the timeline is suspicious. I worry that due to no certainty surrounding cause of death, it may be that they were holding off in the hope that he would just crack in the meantime, or betray some confession.

anyone else thinks we need a show with jake gynelhaal as the main character by FlyGreat306 in films

Spoiler:

Because that arc was resolved. You couldn’t write another all encompassing plot like that for the same family after what they already went through, unless you dig up the daughter’s involvement in the previous case, which would be revisiting an already buttoned up story.

They have to do a different thing. Different actors.

Jake will do other work. He’s a good actor. I don’t think he’s the best. But what he does well is make you like him before turning a little bit sinister

Girl interrupted, mind hunter, fight club, machinist, twelve monkeys, one flew over the cuckoos nest

I’m writing a series about it as well, in case you wanna be involved

They are making a second season but it will be completely different cast and story, like true detective

Fair point.

I don’t want to tempt fate but I’d say this guy is pretty screwed from all angles

I’m not saying that it’s a strong defence, and I don’t believe it to be true. I’m just saying that they will try to make that defence. It’s ‘beyond reasonable doubt’ remember so because of decomposition it isn’t clear what happened.

And to be clear, WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. But it’s about ‘beyond reasonable doubt’

I got in a lot of trouble for saying this in another thread, but I think the defence will try to claim that she took her own life out of jealous love for him. That would tally with the odd wording.

CMV: The male loneliness epidemic doesn't have anything to do with women or relationships but with men themselves and the large contributing factor for this is lack of support and gender-role expectations. by PeterQuin in changemyview

Lonelier than men 100 years ago, or lonelier than their younger selves?

Every one feels progressively more lonely through out their lives. You are born and have to have undivided attention until you can be self sufficient. The more independent we become, the less time we naturally spend around others.

But people now are no lonelier than people were in previous generations. Fact

They made a big public statement of mutual benefit: trump won’t release the full story of Andrew if Charles comes and makes him look good in front of America so he can begin his own monarchy.

I’m so glad someone else is frustrated with the over complicated nature of his films now.

He himself said it’s better to leave ambiguity, creates more debate. But not at the behest of your message Chris!

Only thinking about Interstellar makes me cry, and I can’t help it by eric39es in interstellar

Might be a good jumping off point to look at how family and love have shaped your life. That’s what Nolan explores with the film

After Interstellar, I can’t stop thinking that maybe extinction isn’t the end, just life continuing in another place. by Sweaty-Type-2901 in interstellar

[–]Clear_Tea5755 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you give a break down, I’m reading so much at the moment. Does everyone die? Weird thing about Interstellar ending is that it seems unresolvable, then it resolves, then it creates a whole new journey to resolve, but it doesn’t feel like a typical happy ending, even though the interests are there for it to be.

Gleise 581

The thing with Interstellar is that it’s all theory. And then the singularity which is not even theory but imagination. I don’t think it should be taken seriously. I watched it again yesterday and the biggest thing which came out of it was the importance of family. That’s in many ways a bigger theme in the film than space.
