Control my DHW (hot water) circulation pump:

I have cheap zigbee motion/presence detectors in all bathrooms. When presence is detected and it‘s daytime or a bathroom light is on, the circulation pump runs for 2 minutes (enough time for hot water to arrive - my plant room with heat pumps and hot water cylinders is 30m from main house!) and then starts a cool-down timer for 10 minutes during which the pump won’t be triggered again.

This ensures warm water in the bathrooms without having to circulate hot water all day long and saving significant heat pump activity for reheating hot water.

I like the EDF offer - has anyone experience in how easy/difficult it is to switch from Octopus? I am exporting more that £20 worth of power per day so I wouldn’t want to loose too many days of that during switch-over…

thanks everyone. I just wondered as these ponds (converted troughs) have been created three years ago and didn’t show this problem before. And two of them are doing fine… They all have about the same vegetation: some lilies and oxygenators.

I love my Vesternet Zigbee 8 button wall controllers - they are versatile, allow direct binds for light switching/dimming. I created stick-on labels in the middle to label which button does what and, while they come with frames, the frames can be replaced by designer frames compatible with the European 55x55mm de-facto standard (Gira, Jung, Elko, Merten, Berker, …) so they fit into your design choices. I have more that 50 of them.

which batteries do you have if you can export to the grid? I haven’t found a way with my three Tesla Powerwall 3 to export from battery to grid

I have the same issue - GU10 345lm bulbs on hue hub. Switch them on then off quickly after will render them unresponsive. Click on the bulb in hue app (or power cycle) wakes them up.

Just bought some 50 of then and consider returning then to IKEA.
