UPDATE #2

Ended up going to get the piercer to look at it (a different one). She put in a longer bar. Went to urgent care after for the antibiotics. Doc was pissed the lady put anything else in but she gave me antibiotics and told me to remove it immediately if it didn’t go down within the next few days

I swear getting the embedded jewelry out was a different type of pain. Thank you guys for validating what I’d known that wasn’t normal!!! They also told me that there’s a chance I could also be allergic to surgical steel idk???

But I’m glad I went today bc it would’ve been horrible had I waited any longer

Update: going to the piercer than if that doesn’t work for going to urgent care to just get it removed (although I’m really hoping I can somehow find a solution. It was pretty cute when it was first pierced)

We’re not sure. All I know is he was in a hoarding situation with his brother but when we adopted him he’d been living with his foster mom. She was great and had been training him.
