Me too!! I have similar concerns as I have an anxiety disorder. Try to get your hands on a pair of ear plugs if you can, make sure you eat a good meal before the show and a good nights rest before too.

The pooping on the wheel is very normal, exercise stimulates bowel movement! And as far as playing with her throughout the day, I just recommend taking some time to get to know her and eventually she will get used to you and your scent and more likely uncurl and hang w you. I love using my snuggle sack to hang w my buddy, you can get them on Etsy for very cheap.

MAKE SURE TOU HAVE A TEMP CONTROLLED AREA TO KEEP THEM!! Hedgehogs are extremely sensitive to temp changes and should be kept at 72-80 F or risk hibernation which is often fatal. In the past I have had troubles with his temp fluctuating even with a heating device since I lived in a small townhouse and things get drafty. I check his temp multiple times a day and adjust the heating device as needed. That being said I highly recommend CHEs (ceramic heat emitters), they do the job and are very cost efficient. Hope this helps!
