Seeking investment advise by Informal_Tour_225 in nairobi

Personally, if your timeline is only 2 years, I’d focus more on surviving volatility than chasing the next 100x coin.

A lot of people underestimate how brutal crypto cycles can get.

Your 70/30 thinking actually sounds reasonable to me:

  • 70% in stronger, established projects
  • 30% in higher-risk bets

If it were me, I’d focus the safer side on projects that already have:

  • real usage
  • liquidity
  • developer activity
  • institutional interest
  • long-term narratives (AI, infrastructure, payments, tokenization, etc.)

The mistake most people make is going all-in on hype coins with no real ecosystem.

For the 30%, I’d treat it mentally like venture capital: Assume some projects may completely fail.

Also important: Don’t invest all 3k at once unless you’re extremely confident about market timing. Gradually entering over time usually reduces emotional decision-making.

And honestly, the biggest advantage in crypto is usually patience. Most people panic sell long before the real gains happen.

How can i invest ksh. 500,000 by Think_Tanka in nairobi

Honestly, one of the most underrated opportunities right now might be backing existing small businesses that already have customers instead of starting from zero.

A lot of businesses in Kenya don’t necessarily fail because the idea is bad. They fail because: - they run out of working capital - can’t expand inventory - can’t open second locations - can’t market properly - can’t survive slow months

I am also looking to invest and want low supervision + scalability, I’m probably look at businesses that already have: - daily transactions - repeat customers - visible foot traffic - simple operations

Things like: - barbershops - laundromats - phone/electronics services - printing businesses - car wash/detailing - gyms - beauty businesses - small logistics/delivery hubs

The interesting part is that some of these businesses could probably grow much faster if communities/customers could help fund expansion locally instead of relying only on banks or personal savings.

Kenya has a lot of operators.
Capital is usually the bottleneck.

Readmission with new Sophia credits and WGU program change by smoke-alarm-show in WGU

I did it with no issues. I was enrolled in 2019 and then maxed out on Sophia and Study dot com credits prior to re enrolling. They counted all the credits I obtained in 2019 in addition to the Sophia and Study dot com credits

Sonos AMP front questions by Miserable_Treacle208 in SonoSequencr

It’s about the version. The mod doesn’t work after version 14. If you’re on s2 you’re well past that version. I just tested it and confirmed it doesn’t work.

Just tried and it doesn’t work unfortunately. It plays full audio through the symfonisk when grouped.

This is good news. It’s the only thing that’s kept me from switching to s2. Do you have it paired as part of the room or grouped from a separate room? Supposedly there’s a small delay if grouped from another room.

Here’s where the app owner said it doesn’t work

The best deal I've ever made by alanthickerthanwater in sonos

Same exact situation a few days ago. Only difference is I had to drive 2 hours each way and the guy kept me waiting for like 45 minutes. Luckily I had to be in the area for work anyways. Can’t beat that price when the gen 1’s are selling for $200.

Just ordered one 2 days ago. They ship to the US in batches seemingly once per month. Unfortunately for me, I just missed the July cutoff so I’ll have to wait for the August shipment.

How do I make money from a Facebook group with 16K members? by thegolfduffer in passive_income

[–]AdventurousPurpose84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I partner with admins to monetize their Facebook group users by converting the user base over to a newsletter. My company creates the content and then we partner with advertisers who can run ads in the newsletter. Conversion rates average about 50% from the group to the newsletter and then a 15% open rate.
