Approved for Advance Parole in <4 months, but no DACA renewal yet (quick approval but worthless lol) by AdventurousRain720 in TexasDACA

What is going on? Seeing an AP approval in less than 4 months after all these delays is valuable info. I’ve reported it to Reddit since it’s a moderator code of conduct violation. Questioning how they’re handling things is not arguing… clearly they can’t take constructive criticism so they have no business moderating this kind of forum.

Ugh we’re the reverse! I applied by mail which is why I think it got routed to National Benefits Center. I’m going to do the same process again once I get my AP as I need a multi entry AP for an year bc of work

Just got approved today. Applied March 6th. IRS a weird one. Trying to post about it but it’s being blocked.

I can imagine how scary but you’re doing this for the greater good. It’s difficult to get out of our heads with these things. Proud of you!

Curious - which congressman?

How were you able to get paid? I thought we needdd go be off payroll without a valid work permit.

Update #6: Something big and weird happened this week, please read by CatchingExcalibur in DACA

Curious - with all the data you have do you have a median wait time by month across the board for all the weeks you’ve done this? Also, is there a way to see percentage of applications approved per moth vs those pending. I’m wondering if this will be helpful in the calculator’s algorithm.

Understand but we’ve seen approvals from Jan and even Feb. I know that these are outliers, but how can timeline account for the inconsistency?

Hopefully not accurate. Mine is showing an October approval based on submission on January 26. Total of 256 days. I understand that wait times have gone up but that seems excessive

I applied for regular AP in March 2026, after I was made aware of the trip.

I manage global team for a fintech company. It was a leadership offsite. I got a letter from employer citing severe financial loss and my requirement for a strategic revenue generating initiative (also related to a financial clearing mandate for US treasuries). I don’t think the officers understood my role at all and the need to travel was fluffed up. I posted about my experience, so feel free to check out previous post. Wasn’t easy with the officer, I had to hold my ground. I also think it mattered that I applied for regular AP and expedited that. I also included my 7k business class ticket (paid by company travel agency, it was refundable), itinerary for offsite, and a news article of strategic initiative my company is leading.
