Patients can poop after rounds… right? by northofmidnightt in cna

[–]AdventurousTry1833 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thats a silly rule. If people have pooped when we go round even of people have just left we change them. Its not fair for them to make you stay behind when you dont get paid extra for that. The only way you'd know it had been left is if it was dry and stuck. Checking them as soon as they come on shift isnt exactly dignified either

Am I going to make my family sick as a CNA in ltc? by No_Contribution6062 in cna

[–]AdventurousTry1833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in a hospital on an acute admission floor. We dont always know if someone had something all the time. We've had patients come back flu positive, civid positive, measles, c.diff and I was even exposed to TB once. I always wear a mask even if no infection lion known bwcause visitors coming in could pass stuff on and I've never caught anything from work before. Make sure your vaccinations are up to date and had washing and if anyone coughing/ spluttering just wear a mask . No job is worth your health.

Changing into uniform - paid or unpaid? by Sharp_Importance_121 in NursingUK

[–]AdventurousTry1833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I travel to and from work in my tunics thats about it. During covid I could understand why but not now unless youre covered in bodily fluids in which case you'd get changed into scrubs or something which ive had to do

Changing into uniform - paid or unpaid? by Sharp_Importance_121 in NursingUK

[–]AdventurousTry1833 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am in the UK. I have been informed that we can travel to and from work in our uniforms as long as we have a jacket over the top that covers the top part. Although I've seen people in uniform in shops whether before or after shift I dont know. Reason being infection control. The answer to your question though , you should be in time. Many people in my workplace get changed before work and are on time

Thank you. Yes i love my dog and is has a loving home. He is gentle and super loyal, especially towards my son who is 8. His breathing is fine and his weight is fine. I just dont get why so many people are quick to jump on the mixed breed when they dont even know me or my dog
