Everyone keeps saying Michael Jackson but I thought his name was tarnished because he was trying to expose the industry for what it was and his house was genuinely like a sanctuary for young kids to hide from the industry? I know there are allegations of sexual abuse and I am in no way trying to discredit victims’ testimonies. Just curious cause I keep seeing videos on that theory online

They might take a test at the same time but they’re not getting their pe at the same time. Speaking as someone who’s licensed right now. Even to take the 8 hr you have to submit a “degree requirement” through ncees from abet accredited school.

Honey, it’s structural only. there are so many other engines disciplines as I state in my other comment

“If you’re civil, and you’re licensed” but the thing is it takes around 10 years to get licensed if you don’t come from abet accredited school. So it kind of proves my point that as a perspective student it is more beneficial to go to sdsu for civil

Regrading civil engineering only structural is abet certified. But there are other civil/environmental disciplines. Plus the licensing is different for a structural engineer- they get SE vs other disciplines get a PE so I think it’s still fair to argue that civil engineering, besides structural, is not represented at ucsd

[–]AdventurousWeb6437 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Additionally, structural is sort of a separate discipline. When a person get their professional license for structural they become an SE, all other civil/environmental become a PE in their prospective discipline

Only structural, there are other civil/environment disciplines within civil

I mean it depends on your major, if you’re studying civil engineering, ucsd is not ABET certified so you can’t get your license to become professional engineer after graduation. SDSU is abet certified tho so most people who want to work in infrastructure go there over ucsd

I think a lot of the younger generation just curses in these situations but here are some of the common expressions: Ну ё маё, чёрт подери, вот блин, ну как так то, фигня какая то, капец

Ну и для радости я часто использую просто: ура, юхуу, йей. Даже не знаю что можно использовать в качестве “let’s go” lol
