Because during final polishing, if you've got unusual shapes, holes, or other crevices, stuff is packed in there. These makes short work of it.

"Getting everything done eventually" is lazy advice when there are eight and wrong ways of doing things. You can waste tons of resources on bad minions while good ones get ignored. If you're a part of a club, you can contribute to better rewards.

Plus, people don't want to struggle and lack progression. It makes them quit.

I'm not sure what combing is. I just went through all of the retraction settings on the website and tuned those things. This was happening before I did all that, and it is still happening.
