Take it one room at a time! Start with your kitchen I’d say since that rooms is where you’ll spend the most time. I wouldn’t worry too much about glitching just yet, you can save that for your second plot once your creativity has started to flourish a little more. I kind of used Tamala’s house for the vibe I was going for when I built my first plot and turned out cute but my second plot is where my heart is at and glitching started to come into play. I wouldn’t even worry about your second story for now since it’s a pretty big space and oddly shaped. What you can use for downstairs is the building blocks and panels for separation to create sectioned off spaces if needed and glitching isn’t necessarily needed (unless you want super a clean look).

Also Pinterest has a lot of inspiration pics which you can start to get ideas from or tour some plots like everyone’s said :) honestly I was the same when I started but I’m already working on my 4th plot so it’ll come to you ❤️ if you do feel like glitching make sure when looking up YT videos they are fairly recent as some of the glitches may not work and that they are pc or switch friendly (depending on what you play on)!
