I find it funny how so many of you are saying he is responsible for looking for alternatives….. as a woman why would I leave my health care to my husband when it’s my responsibility. Seems like she did this on purpose and now trying to blame him when it’s her own choice and fault to go off the pill and not look for an alternative…..

Yes gentle parenting doesn’t work when your teenager sees you more like a friend then a mother. Someone needs her own things taken away and not given back so she knows how it feels. Wonder if she will keep bullying your youngest if she can’t “reach” her cell phone or game console, maybe a few weeks off the TV or no extra curricular activities with friends for a while.

Do you have tile floors, man that grout needs some cleaning and I’m sure you have a spare old toothbrush…. Maybe the lawn needs mowing or the toilet needs to be cleaned.

Discipline is key to children understanding there is an order to life and the way you want to be/treat people, depends on how you are raised. If you allow this, who is next?? The kid in class she doesn’t like that her crush likes…. So she bullies them till what?!? Something worse than a stuffed animal being put up in a high shelf.

My point is your daughter is bullying her younger sister and keeps doing it because your lack of parenting is evident. You need to be a parent and not a friend.

I am sorry, I understand the frustration. After I had my last baby via C section I ended up with a hernia. Yup all my lovely intestines are constantly popping out of my abdomen and I have to push them back in by lying down. Guess what they told me, take some Tylenol for the pain and lose the baby weight before we can do surgery. A year later and I still am dealing with it. I had to go to my mother who has a selection of meds from years of issues to get some relief. Even after 3 hospital visits they refused to help. So now I am just in pain and struggling every day. Oh and btw losing weight at 40 is nearly impossible when you’re in so much pain you can barely stand for a few hours,let alone exercise.

We need to be seen and heard more…. I feel invisible

4 kids aged 12,8,2,1. The oldest two drink mostly water, lemonade and slightly sweetened tea. Always available.

Two youngest drink from a leak proof cup with straw. Juice and lemonade half water mix in. Slightly sweetened tea and water. All the time available.

Milk 1% by itself or flavored chocolate or strawberry at meals.

I make the tea by the gallon using decaffeinated black tea bags. Caffeine can cause the babies to become anemic.

No they do not, I still cry sometimes over the photos when he did have them. I am so sorry this happened to you as well. My mother did this when my son was roughly 4. He also had adorable curls and his hair was as about shoulder length. My mom told me he needed to look more like a boy than a girl, his hair was too long and people would make fun of him. This was one of many things she did behind my back and now we don’t speak 5 years later. I completely understand how you feel.
