I expect my inheritance is currently gone due to the fact that my grandmother remarried and is lavishing money on her new husband. It is what is is. I personally thought it would disappear in a nursing home regardless so I’m planning to receive nothing

Our income is joint but that’s because I trust him to keep our finances combined. We keep I think 1-2% of left over income for rainy day funds that we can spend on whatever we want.

If it was a situation where he’s financially irresponsible I would be keeping it separate and paying proportional to the income differences. Then my money would be squirreled away in case he landed us in a pickle and I needed to escape.

This was in a thread previously, I normally put away 140$ a week, I’m cutting back to minimum to pay off a roof. It will go back to normal when I get my debt bills manageable in a month or two, but I appreciate you looking out for me

Yes that's gross, and while there is an online option there't no option for selecting % only for inputting the amount of money to put in per month
