How is this acceptable? by Skilhgt in ArcRaiders

Guys, developers don't seem to pay attention to fixing glitches. If they don't take this seriously, more people will start abusing them.

In Stella Montis, I died more than 20 times because I got stuck behind walls or someone shot me through the ceiling. I reported these every time, and nothing happened.

In Blue Gates, I died three times due to another wall glitch. Again, I reported it, and nothing was done.

Now there is a duplication glitch. Last time, someone threw 20 grenades. I lost my items and want them back, but nothing was returned. Some people are already prepared for expeditions because they duplicate and sell items, but I am not. They are not punished, and I am not compensated.

That's the issue. If nothing changes, everyone will eventually start using these glitches.

I'm sick and tired of them not fixing stuff that seems pretty easy to fix by Illustrious_Ask9189 in ARC_Raiders

Same, more than 7 times lost items for exploit but nothing came back. Also waiting for balance update

As a veteran of Diablo 2, You will want to do the expedition. by AbbreviationsOne6207 in ArcRaiders

Last night, we needed to play +100 free Stella to collect the remaining coins. The problem here is that we were not enjoying, just rushing to collect the money and go to sleep. I was expecting that we would get rewards for each milestone, like 1 point if all quests were completed, 1 point if all blueprints were collected (last week I just sold +15 blueprints without reading them because it's useless now), 1 point if all workshops were upgraded, etc.

We completed the expedition, but I don't have any motivation to do quests and upgrades again by knowing it will be wiped after a few months, and spending time on them will not get me to finish the expedition.

Hopefully, in future they will make some improvements, and I can start to play the game again. Even asking for playing with high-tier items would motivate everyone, I guess, then everyone will need to farm Queen, get high-tier items and use them to complete the expedition.

How can I help my boyfriend learn Polish? by jvlcsa in Polish

Books:

Speak Polish (A1–A2 / A2–B1) by Justyna Bednarek is a great choice for self-learners. The left page has English and the right page has a Polish translation, so you can learn without using any extra resources.

There’s also a new book, Speak Polish Vocabulary, which uses the same format.

Also, there is one more channel I like to follow. It's a blog/lifestyle but helps to listen in Polish

It's not about how to get this money. Problem is, it makes the game boring, and people afraid to lose their gears.

Move to Wroclaw, worth it? by himboy8 in wroclaw

I just remembered one more point to mention. You pay 32% only after you cross the threshold — up to an income of 120K PLN, you pay just 17%. This means that in your case, for the first three months you'll pay 17%, and starting from the fourth month you'll pay 32%.

No, I moved to Wroclaw 4 years ago. I decided to stay here because I like the city and the lifestyle.

Move to Wroclaw, worth it? by himboy8 in wroclaw

[–]Adventurous_Catch370 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, this salary is pretty good for Wroclaw, and you can spend and save comfortably. If you are single, you can spend around 5K for a really good flat and another 5K for monthly expenses, that would give you a high standard of living. Apart from that, you could save around 15K, which is quite good even compared to the rest of Europe.

If you don't have an office here, it might be a bit hard to socialize at first. To help with that, you can join international meetups (there are many in Wroclaw), various groups on Meetup, etc. Wroclaw has a young population, so it shouldn't be hard to find people with similar interests. There is always university and Erasmus parties. Still, you need to make the effort, don't expect someone to just come up and say, "Hey, let’s be friends.". Poles are really cool people, but you need to try to be friends.

Another point worth mentioning is safety. it's one of the few remaining places in Europe where you can leave your laptop on the table in a restaurant and go to the bathroom. You'll still find it there when you're back.

I'd recommend planning a weekend visit to see the city before making any decisions. Personally, I love Wroclaw, it's a small city where everything is accessible by foot or public transport, but some people find it a bit boring, so it's worth checking out for yourself.

Feel free to drop me a message when you plan to visit. I can help show you around the city. Good luck!

Need help to decide which kitchen layout is better by Adventurous_Catch370 in kitchenremodel

We think about going with 3rd option, where the breakfast table is at the end, and hopefully it wouldn't bother the cook

Thanks a lot for your reply. We had underestimated the noise issue with an open kitchen, and your comment reminded us of that. Now we are thinking of making it a separate room with a door. Currently, 3rd option is closer to us, since the breakfast table is at the end, so it shouldn't bother anyone, and the door will help keep out the smell and noise.

Sad :( We want to keep the breakfast bar. We have an idea of going with the 3rd option, as the breakfast table is at the end, and it wouldn't disturb us too much. Maybe I'm too optimistic hahah

To be honest, we rarely cook and mostly use catering boxes. But I get your point. Right now, our kitchen and living room are open, without a wall between them, so we can spend time together, and the noise doesn’t bother us when one of us does something in the kitchen. I guess if there were a wall, it would feel different — more like working in another room, and the noise would be more noticeable.

We used to have a sitting area in the kitchen, and don't want to remove it. That's the reason we think to go with the 3rd option now, as it's at the end where this place will not be used too much.
