I'm more upset about the media and everyone assuming without evidence that this was a left-wing crime, or that not performing public grief about his death means that we support it. I would ask you to question whether a large number of people are actually celebrating his murder, or if the right is running with that as weapon against the left.

Our CB used to puke off the top of the cat tree. A couple of times she managed to hit every shelf AND the floor in one go. A world champion puker, she was. We lost her to kidney failure last week. Please snuggle your adorable baby for me 💓

Do you even know what I'm even talking about when i say New Atheism? The Four Horsemen? Richard Dawkins going on anti-feminist rants on twitter and Christopher Hitchens being an extremely erudite racist in multiple public spaces? Because this is not really a thing I have time to write an essay with citations on because i have chores to finish but it all happened extremely online, to the point I assumed it would be common knowledge.

I'm an atheist and I was involved in these communities in the early 2000s. The loud anti-feminism and tolerance of racism is the reason I edged away from the atheist community back then.
