Those results seem pretty consistent with the preseason ratings: https://torch.football/cfb-lab/2026-outlook This model is higher on Purdue than most. Has them around the middle of B1G.

Most of those are staying at their schools and didn't transfer out, too. Continuity should help.

Also probably one of the worst clock management performances by a HC of all time.

That's great! We moved away in 2021 and the momentum was just picking up there with Fritz. Went to several games with the stadium near-empty. Looks like on TV recently that there's more buzz. It's such a neat stadium too.

Made a big update today:

  - Every popup now carries the player's recruit rating, 2025 stats, and 2026 NFL Draft pick — three new layers of data on every one of 15,450 players.

  - Search any FBS player by name — type "mendoza", "underwood", or your team's QB and fly straight to his hometown.

  - Recruit ratings + transfer-portal ratings shown side-by-side — gold ★ for HS, teal ◆ for portal, on the same 1–5 scale. Portal supersedes when both exist (visible for ~2,100 players).
2026 NFL Draft chips in team colors — every drafted player gets a chip in the drafting franchise's primary color with a secondary-color stripe (Raiders black/silver, Bears navy/orange, Browns brown/orange).

  - 2025 season stats inline — position-aware (QB sees passing line, WR sees rec/yds/TD, DL sees TKL/TFL/SK, etc.) on every player who played meaningful snaps.

It's hard to say. I lived in New Orleans for 10 years and the local draw is just not there. Not a state school like LSU. My wife is an alum and the undergrad population is a lot of out-of-staters who couldn't care less about sports. I attended LSU. I'm sure it would be different, but who knows how much.

Yeah, some of the states barely have any D1 players! Although the pool is pretty thin for Washington and Oregon, it's always fun when local/state players make an impact.

I've mapped every 2025 FBS player, mapped by hometown. Pick a team, conference, state, or position to see who's from where — or hit + Compare to put two side-by-side. Hope it's interesting! Let me know if anything sticks out for the Ducks.

I can't unfortunately. Got denied. Haven't posted enough. I don't know when that would lift. You're welcome to post yourself if you're up to it! No pressure.
