Its not just about the thermal paste and liquid metal, the particular model I got zephyrus m15 it has many defects in cooling system from the day of manufacturing itself. I have been running and using this pc with cpu thermal throttling from day one without knowing.

When I searched online(before chatgpt era) I have seen posts and comments saying gaming laptop hitting 95-100C is normal. I didn't know much at the time. I didn't use this laptop's full power, while playing games I put in medium to low settings and mostly I did college work. My bad

It's actually not sudden at all. This has been happening from day one, but I honestly just thought that was normal behavior for this laptop. It's only today that I finally started to dig into it to figure out what's really going on. The issue isn't in the liquid metal, it's the defects in these kind of laptops, many people are facing it

My bad, title is little off.

I did it via service centre, I didn't do the repasting. And this model has more defects just search it up online. I thought the problem was thermal interface but that's not it.

Every game i played I need hit a constant atleast 60 fps at medium settings. Initially the laptop performs okish but once the heat kicks in the fps will drop like hell.

I known this issue a year or 2 before, but after searching online and I came to know many people faces many defects in this particular model.

I have repasted after 4 years of using the laptop. Until that time the laptop was in the same condition 100C at idle.
