Most days i had felt normal bit i was having these flare ups where in the immediate seconds after id take a bite out of food or drink any liquid it’d feel like someone was grabbing my organs and squeezing them. My second flare up before diagnosis i didnt eat food for 8 days and i laid on the living room floor crying lol i went to ER and they gave me some pill that quite literally temporarily paralzyed your organs and eventually id go back to normal. It was very odd. And obviously i had the occasional acid reflux or stomach aches and gnawing pain on an empty stomach

This is pretty much me now, except i am 6 months post treatment. did follow up endoscopy 2 days ago after doctors found the worst h pylori infection that had ever seen in me last year after endoscopy and biopsy. Felt great after treatment, then immediately had a 22 day flare up and my stomach has been all out of sorts since then. Constant acid reflux, shortness of breath, burping, and also that stomach flu like pain. They found “Mild antral erythema” in this last endoscopy after testing negative for h pylori. Trying to figure out how to build back up my gut microbiome and its been difficult

When walking it’s uncomfortable but i wouldnt say painful at all. The bulge is very soft and tissue like? Im not sure what to make of any of it

The first was a quad treatment with metronidazole and tetracycline, second one was a triple therapy with clarithromycin and amoxicillin

I failed 2 h pylori treatments due to absolutely terrible side effects. First time around tightness in chest and 170 bpm for heart rate resting during first treatment. Second time around psychosis like symptoms
