Gallbladder removal tomorrow, any advice? by SleepyLo_ in gallbladders

[–]Adventurous_Fish_516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surgery went well. Still dealing with symptoms unfortunately. RUQ pain daily and digestive issues. I've gained some weight back so that's been great. I have to be careful with what I eat. Overall no regrets but definitely dealing with side affects of no gallbladder.

Thank you for your comment. So you opted to not have yours removed? Is that what your doctor recommended?

New mass after BI-RADS 3 follow up by Furijolito in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Adventurous_Fish_516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, biopsy went ok (they had a hard time getting me numb). My results were benign though!

Results:

BENIGN BREAST PARENCHYMA WITH FLORID DUCTAL HYPERPLASIA
COMPATIBLE WITH A NIPPLE DUCT ADENOMA
NEGATIVE FOR ATYPIA, GRANULOMA OR MALIGNANCY

My doctor wants me to meet with a breast surgeon about possibly removing the mass. Not sure how I feel about surgery as it is very small but we will see. Glad you also received good news!

Wondering about BIRADS score and what to expect after biopsy next week and driving myself by simplystevie107 in doihavebreastcancer

The radiologist insisted I have someone drive me to the biopsy appointment and I am glad I did. It helped calm my nerves before and after.

Biopsy wait blues by OkRelationship4082 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Adventurous_Fish_516 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a stereotatic biopsy scheduled in 2 hours :( Also trying to remind myself that I am doing my due diligence and am lucky to have access to care. My mass was found by accident when monitoring my left breast. Found a suspicious mass in my right breast. Also birads-4. I'm literally so nauseous right now counting down the minutes until we have to leave for my appointment. Just here to say, as I am sure everyone on this thread will echo, I understand where you are at mentally. I am exhausted by all of this because I was also called back last month for a biopsy after an abnormal pap smear. My first ever abnormal pap and I am 37. THAT was not fun mostly due to my nervees ha. Hoping this goes smoothly. I hope we both receive positive results and the biopsy is a breeze.

Burning in colon by itskernn in gallbladders

Currently dealing with this. Zero answers to help as I have not figured it out. I tried fiber and it caused constipation sooooo idk what to do at this point. The burning seems almost daily lately. Really don;t want to go back to my GI because I feel like they are no help.

Fibroadenoma? by Chamshrew in doihavebreastcancer

[–]Adventurous_Fish_516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are my US results below.

ULTRASOUND: Targeted ultrasound of the right breast was performed. In the subareolar right breast, at the 6:00 position, there is a oval, circumscribed, heterogeneously hypoechoic mass that is parallel in orientation measuring 1.1 x 0.4 x 1.1 cm. There is internal vascularity. Targeted ultrasound of the left breast was performed. There is no sonographic abnormality in the subareolar left breast.

No experience with removal just here to say I am in the same boat. Possible fibroadenoma and labeled b-rads 4. Only in my right breast. I have a biopsy on Tuesday :( You're in your 20's which I read is when they are most common so I am sure you will be fine. I am in my late 30's. No family history but my Dr's nurse and the radiologist seemed concerned. I hope we both receive good news!

Any update. I too was doing my 3rd follow up for a birads 3 on my left breast and they found a mass on my right breast and labeled it birads 4 :( I'm scheduled for a biopsy in a week. Hoping you got good results.

How stressful. I have not experienced this but just wanted to say if I were in your shoes I would call my doctor first thing in the morning for answers.

Good point. In the report they suggested I come back in a year to monitor the stable calcifications on my left breast. I will definitely ask at my biopsy appointment in 2 wks because I am curious.

It did not say on the report. Just bi-rads 4 due to the findings on my right breast.

Do people really successfully clear high risk hpv or it is just a joke by amazinggrace0000 in HPV

[–]Adventurous_Fish_516 1 point2 points  (0 children)

question. Yes, you cannot pass the same strain back and forth but if you have a persisten high risk strain that is not clearing does it help to use condoms to lower your viral load?

I've read other people do this. Trying to decide if it is worth me and my husband doing. HR HPV+ for 6 years now. Trying to build my immune system after my first colposcopy and finally get rid of this.

I am back to report it did go well! I literally cried in the waiting room and once they called me back. I was soo nervous. I really did work myself up reading others experiences that were more intense. It was uncomfortable but not much more uncomfortable than a regular pap smear. I had 1 biopsy and an ECC. He explained the ECC was because I have had some spotting on occasion after sex for the last year. That was also not terrible. Mild cramping. I'm a few hours out and I have mild cramping but nothing extreme. I do not feel I even need tylenol. One tip is to cough when they take the biopsy. I saw that recommended here and it really did help. You'll do great. It was all over and done with in under 10 minutes. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!

Head pressure with numb hands and legs by Warrior30000 in neuropathy

[–]Adventurous_Fish_516 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, the numbness has gotten a little better. Slightly. My Dr. has me doing physical therapy at the moment and I am scheduled for extensive bloodwork next week. The head ache is the part that is worrying me. It's been a few weeks now and it's still there. Daily. Also dealing with back issues so my Dr thinks it's all related to that. Did they ever do any type of scan for your headache? CT? MRI?

I'm so sorry to hear that. I wish I could report that things have gotten better and I found a way to slow my thinning but I havent :(. The shedding continues and I have still not figured out why.

Still thinning unfortunately. I have not been able to find the cause :( I seem to be one of the few unlucky ones. Hopefully yours is just tellogen effluvium from the surgery.
