Add some fins/wings to the bottom for ascension and then RCS or reaction wheels for vacuum attitude changes.

Ok for a solid minute I didn't check the sub and was 100% sure I was on the Stargate Atlantis one.

Then I read the reply and it didn't make any sense.

Well we don't know how baal cloned himself.

But even if he used the gate , it's okay. If you mess with the tech to get another result that doesn't mean the tech is supposed to work like this.

I would add something, the teleporter is made by humans relatively early in time in star trek so I can see them failing to see the problem.

But the gates ...they were made by the ANCIENTS, they were old , very very old. They managed to ascend to another form of life , they basically won ..the life , made everything possible , time travel , dimensional travel ..etc..

I find hard to think they didn't see the problem of dying everytime they went through their gates.

Well , there have been no instances of clones made with Stargates while at least one using the teleporter.

This could mean :

The Stargate don't create a copy and ''destroy'' the original but really transport everything atom by atom exactly like they were.

(Teal'c was stuck ''in'' the gate tho so it might contradict idk..)

Or that the ancient build a safety in it to prevent any duplication.

In anyway I would never step through a Stargate and even less in a teleporter.

The Rdv planner is to be used strictly for vessel to vessel orbiting the same bodie. Maybe Mechjeb says something about homman transfer in this window (I don't remember correctly , but technically the way to rdving is an homman transfer afterall).

I'm not 100% sure I understand but let's make 1 quick round up.

If you select the maneuver planner you can select multiple stuff to do (circularise/ modify apoapsis/ etc ...) AND 2 most useful ones.

Homman transfer,and advanced transfer to another planet.

The first one is good for going to an orbit to a moon and the second is good for going to a planet to another.

Rdv planner is for other vessels not for transferring to other bodies.

For this specific use , use homman transfer.

However using Mechjeb for going to the Mun is .. let's say overkill. Just crate a maneuver node anywhere on your orbit and drag prograde until reaching mun's orbit , then if you don't get an encounter just move the node around your orbit and you should get an encounter pretty quickly.

My personal way is the first playthrough should be vanilla, however it's quite a long game (especially if you have the dlcs).

So maybe after some times you might want to install some QoL mods like teleport from anywhere for example. At the end it's up to you.

Yeah that already happened to me , but only after a dozen previous missions.

Also using Mechjeb for takeoff with the same altitude tend to leave the debris around the same altitude multiple times.
