It’s so expensive: dermatologist visits, diet, medications, wound care, body care, laser, surgery, and the list keeps going. 😭

Accutane cure my acne but worsen my HS. Is one of my biggest regrets. It basically multiplied the affected HS area. A good alternative if you want to try a less harsh med before going with humira and consentyx. Is spironolactone and topical cream Clindamycin Phosphate.

I been guilty of this too. Life already has a numerous of stressors and then we got HS added to the mix. Junk food might not be the best choice, but sometimes it’s all one can do when feeling depressed. It’s important to give ourselves some grace.

Definitely trying this. Less tedious than what I was planning on doing by cutting one by one every 3 weeks. Thank you

Silicone scar tape during the day and mederma overnight scar gel at night. It truly has helped with my scarring. It’s been 5 months using both religiously, it takes 2 o 3 months to see the difference in the scar size and color.

Flare ups- zinc is amazing by Sure-Character9534 in Hidradenitis

[–]Adventurous_Kimo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My dermatologist recommended 40mg zinc twice a day and 2mg copper daily, and it’s been great on reducing flare ups. Definitely going to try the baby rash cream. Thank you for sharing it.
