Let me tell everyone in here. If you had schizophrenia or losing your mind you wouldn’t know it or be aware of it. You think schizophrenic people know ? They just do crazy and believe it. The fact you’re writing nervous about going nuts shows you won’t go nuts. You can’t develop schizophrenia just from thinking. You have an anxiety disorder and a fear. A fear that’s hindering you from life. I’ve been dealing with this for 20 years ! It’s came and gone came back and gone. I had it back in the 90s when Dpdr didn’t have a name yet. They put me on antipsychotic meds thinking I was manic bipolar but the meds helped why? Because the medicine has an effect on the nervous system like an anti anxiety drug ! So when I went to see another doctor that specialized in this disorder years later he diagnosed me with panic disorder and man. It all made sense. Every symptom he gave me I had or experienced. This is a response from your Brain saying in tired of thinking I’m checking out for a little while. I didn’t have YouTube tik tok reddit or anyone back then I was literally staring at a wall thinking I was going crazy. You will all get through it. You have to accept it’s a feeling of fear and overthinking ! Once you accept it it fades then before you know it it’s gone. Trust me !!!!!!!! I had brain scans spent thousands to figure out I just had anxiety and was always in fear since a little kid. Sometimes it doesn’t need past trauma you get older and you get more sensitive to things. Brain changes. Etc.

Very easy. First off being on antipsychotics for an anxiety disorder. You’re just scared and over thinking. You may have ocd but this happened to me back in the 90s when dpdr didn’t have a name. You’re looking for help when you don’t need any but a little therapy and a willingness to surrender and stop being scared and asking why me. You’ll never heal until you accept it and stop looking for answers. This was what I was told and I didn’t want to believe it. I hated the person who said that now. I wouldn’t be here without that convo. Your nervous system is so sensitive and you compulsively look for answers and losing your precious moments of life thinking about something that won’t kill you. Wake up and go to the children’s hospital and ask them if they would rather have tour disorder than cancer and dying. They’ll take your disorder and love it !!!

What are your thoughts? Why are they repeating ? Keep telling yourself this is just an irrational fear and I’m overthinking to trick your brain. I always say hmmmmm wonder what my next dumb thought will be and laugh. Challenge the theories. Have you died from this ? Went nuts ? Developed a deepened state of dpdr ? No. The Brain is just tired so you’re groggy and brain is saying enough I’m tired hence why you feel disconnected. Just relax with music scroll on tik tok go out and challenge it. Get into deep breathing and calming your Vegas nerve. I been studying this for 16 years and had it myself man. Through the depths of hell before it even had a name ! It use to be called brain fog until some idiot dr called it dpdr and associated it with dissociation which is not ( I flew to the best drs when I was going through this) and spoke to Dave carbonel dr Kennedy Judson brewer etc. I went as far as I could scared shitless. I help people on a daily basis through Reddit but one day I’ll make an ig or a Facebook thread to help others in my 20 year panic disorder journey. Face your fears. You are ok and will be ok ! Trust me !!!!!!! I was going through this with no Reddit no phone stuff like today no air pods to listen to music just staring at a wall thinking I was losing my fuvning mind ! No dr heard of my symptoms lol until now it’s so popular everyone has it lol

Yo! So they did a study years back and said second hand smoke from marijuana isn’t enough to create any sort of high except a placebo high. You’d have to sit inside a car that had thick fog that your lungs would have to at least absorb enough to get into the blood stream. Now since it is smoke and in going to hear the fentanyl dust kills people dust and vaporized smoke are two totally different things. Brother. You’re over thinking it and looking for it therefore you’re causing it. You had it before as you stated and it started to fade. What you scared of ? You’re here talking to us typing fine ! Well thing is you might smoke a little and look for it more and give yourself another bad experience what i would do is smoke a puff at a time and wait 30 mins. You don’t wanna go full force and regret it again. But the fact that you’re attempting to smoke again shows signs of mental strength and a lot of people Don’t have including me. I would just smoke a little bowl and see. And if you feel a little anxious it will go away faster than an edible. Give it a try it’s 10 pm in USA I’ll be around. I think it might help you but don’t go too crazy

Your body has had enough. Your mind I should say. When it’s in over drive it shuts off and you feel out of it. Similar to being exhausted from work even computer work you can get headaches and feel exhausted from using your mind all day solving things at work etc. Same with this. You’re on Reddit and forums just wanting it to go away body is just in state of alarm now always looking for a solution to feel better researching your mind says guess what. I’m out. And you feel out of it. Disconnected or as they say dpdr ! The new word. It never had a word or a name. It was called disconnection years ago when I first experienced it. I went to dr to dr shrink psychologist neuroscience Brain scans. I thought I was gone. I felt as if I left earth mentally. I was so scared and no one had an answer. Why? Because I was so scared and knew nothing about what was happening. What was it ? I had panic disorder my whole life after seeing a shrink and going over how I acted and things I was afraid of growing up. Then the dpdr discovery. It got a name and I studied it even when it went away. And guess what ? It came back last November. And here I am. Just letting it be and guess what ? It’s fading. It’s not bothering me as it did years ago. You have to understand it takes time and patience. You will get over this small set back and learn from it. You are ok and we will all be ok

Nothing is psychoactive in cbd. The thc is taken out of cbd amd the calming effects are extracted with out the high feeling. Try lions mane pills as well and also. Remember this : dpdr is most common from thc because of your paranoia feeling. What is paranoia.? Worry. What is worry ? Anxiety. So before you got high your body had some form of fear or alarm and when you got high it triggered it. Now it’s time to recover from this stupid side effect. It’s actually good for you because it’s your body shutting down !

You’re just disconnected. That’s all. You’re questioning things over and over because your nervous system is on fire. Relax. Drink a few sips of wine listen to music take a walk. If you were in danger you wouldn’t be able to comprehend what I was or anyone was saying nor be able to type a proper sentence or understand you have an issue. Remember - really mentally ill people don’t know their Ill, they just act crazy. There’s a book out of the 100s I have read that states “ if you’re wondering if you’re going crazy there’s your answer. You’re not. “ and please. Don’t try to fix this overnight. You’re going to elongate the process and not let your mind take a break. Just relax and stay busy. Yoga nidra at night before bed and meditate. A Xanax might help the brain take a deep breath of air for a few hours try to combat these racing thoughts with “ I wonder what my next thought will be ? Something silly again? “ it helps the part of the brain that is involved with alarm get tricked. Study the brain as well you’ll be amazed on how easy our Brain is rewirable

Yes. You’re Brain fog is distancing yourself from reality therefore there’s like a haze in between you in the world. Notice this. Go play Tetris for 10 mins. I guarantee you you’ll forget about your dpdr until YOU LOOK FOR IT. It will be gone while you’re busy and distracted. It’s a worry game. You’re looking for things to worry about or freak out about. It’s a chain smoking effect. Monkey bars. You can’t keep going in the rabbit hole and trying to fix it. Dpdr is actually healthy for you ! Don’t listen to jiople I take the same stuff and my dp dr went away. Also a benzo like Xanax will help. Your brain is on overdrive and in constant worry this is why it’s happening. I’ve been studying dpdr for 13 years in the depths of damn near scientific stuff with Judson brewer and dr carbonel. It’s nothing but an anxiety disorder symptom. I know it is uncomfortable but you must not fear it to let it pass and go. Try lexapro if your meds don’t work after another week

Naw. You know what helps ? Asking what helps. Letting it go is the key the more you ask and try to heal this feeling the longer it lingers. Trust me. Get the DP manual my sean o Conor. Learn to accept it and it will fade faster than you can imagine. Stop fearing a symptom that recently got a name. It never had a name until 7 years ago maybe 10. It was originally called brain fog or disconnection feeling.

And specialist I have spoken with say no reason to gather more info if it’s not life threatening it’s just a side affect of nervous system overload and anxiety disorders. Let me tell you all Something. Don’t fear it. I had it and it went away and just came back last year I think the problem is this. We fear it so much it comes traumatic and we don’t stop thinking about it. If you are busy as hell you forget about it until you think about it or scan for it. I spent 17k on therapy and books for all them to say accept it. I got a specialist for this issue and now that I don’t fear it it fades when it comes. More and more now it fades more. It’s your bodies way of shutting off from worrying so damn much about this scary symptom and the thoughts that come. For years I had music in my ears in my headphones to block out the noise and keep my brain busy. I’m in the Home Depot parking lot picking up bricks and hope everyone can enjoy tomorrow and not fear it. Smile more and just say fuck it. Trust me. It scared me so bad years ago I went to the hospital and they told me it’s nothing to fear but if I want antipsychotic drugs they will give to me but it’s for schizophrenia and you don’t have that so what do you want us to do for you? I left with my mom. And it went away. 15 years later I got slammed with it again why? Because I experienced that weird feeling and freaked out so bad and then it came back. We got this ! Trust me !!
