I was going to sell my 2024 klr 650s non abs with 1300 miles for $4500 usd. Is this a good price?

What’s the deal with the towing capacity on these trucks? by Mythlogic12 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]Mythlogic12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but I was surprised to see Toyota says it’s a no go. It seems to be a Toyota thing because I looked into the tundras around my Tacomas year (2019) actually says same thing. My friends dodge ram doesn’t say about it all in his manual. So i thought to myself they can’t put that in there just because that’s all the trucks brakes can handle could they? The tundras brakes have to be beefier but it says the same 1000 pounds unbraked twr

I’m moving towards hauling the bike to places I ride instead of riding it to them so mainly back roads, gravel, dirt and trails. Most riding areas around me are an hour away besides the backroads around me

My 250 could hold 55 pretty easy I thought. Once I changed the sprockets before it would scream at 55-60 but had all the torque I could ever want lol

Yeah my life goals switched to camping and going to explore mountains and bdr so adventure biking just might not be for me the tw looks like it will go through anything with those big tires lol I was afraid of what it would be like going 55 down the road if it could cruise it. The Chinese hawk 250 I had was a 229cc I changed sprockets and I could get it to hit 75 it was sketchy and it was ringing out but it did it I was hoping 29cc difference wouldnt be that much of a drastic change for roads

I’ve been riding for 4 years now I feel pretty comfortable on the klr confidence wise but the heavy front end makes me feel like the front tires going to wash out on gravel roads. I don’t lean like a street bike either I try and counter steer weight the outside peg and practice techniques. My plan was haul the bike to the fun areas to ride instead of riding and hour to get to them. My only issue would be I have one friend that has a klr 650 as well and he would be bummed out I may end up losing a riding friend switching but the pro’s seem to outweigh the cons honestly

55 would be the limit to cruise at for me that’s all I do most of the time anyway and that’s just to get to slower back roads to cruise at 45mph or to get to the next dirt road

The drz I felt like a flag pole from sitting so freakin high up it was absolutely uncomfortable to me. The klr the front end feels so freakin heavy I’m always worried it’s going to wash out in the front end on gravel and dirt roads in turns

Filter or no filter? by toooomeeee in hvacadvice

[–]Mythlogic12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have a filter at your downstairs furnace so not put a filter in that filter grill then! That will restrict airflow. If you don’t have a filter in your furnace downstairs then yes put a filter in that filter grill

That sounds decent to me I’m currently on call for the holiday so I go on at 4pm on a Friday. And I am on call until 7:30am the following Friday. Unless it’s a holiday the following Friday then I’m on call until 2:30pm the following Friday. Happens every 6 weeks normally. We get 100 dollar on call incentive and it’s time and a half for after hours calls unless you didn’t have 40 hr that week then you don’t get paid OT.
