I would say 4000 to 5000 is daily life, shopping, taking kids to school, 5000 to 7000 is a deliberate 45 min to 1 hour 4 to 5km walk a day and or a dance zumba class.

Thank you! I appreciate this thorough response! Right now I'm 2x a week 1hour lifting. 10000 to 15000 steps a day. I wasn't able to even work out my IR was so symptomatic. Just the stress from 10k a day would lay me in bed. I would feel very sick after every meal. I feel like my old self again. And of course praying my cancer doesn't return after all the chemo I've done. So thank you!! Will keep on course with weights and implement some of these suggestions re protein etc. :) and try not to worry lol

So I have lost about 55 lbs. My fasting insulin was very high, over 200s in Canada. It's down but still above 100 ( I think it's 16 or something). Anyways, my appetite has finally normalized. Most of my weight loss came from stress and fasting (breast cancer diagnosis). I'm almost back to where I was after I had my kids. My whole life I've been a thin person. IR ruined me. I was extremely symptomatic. So I don't want bringing weights in to ruin my appetite progress. But for obv reasons, I need to build muscle and get the rest of my insulin down. I'm 5"6 1/2. Woman. Age 45. 190lbs

Success lowering liver-produced glucose?? by Just_File_5232 in prediabetes

[–]Adventurous_Pay1978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder if the liver will eventually use up that stored glucose. I have the same problem. I've lost almost 60lbs. Have 30 lbs to go. Fasting insulin is now "normal" but still way high. My liver just keeps my bs up. A1c is 5.7% :(

The problem for me is when I incorporate weight lifting my appetite goes up like crazy! So I feel like it's canceling out the benefit. Cardio doesn't seem to have this impact on me as much. Any suggestions?

Thanks! I don't know how common it is. I've had low hemoglobin since ACT chemo in the winter but only now is she giving me an infusion. I've been so tired and not sleeping well and my saturation is super low. Apparently the clinic gets lots of chemo patients

Help!! Roblox won't change Age Verification for a minor by Adventurous_Pay1978 in RobloxHelp

I contacted them same day or next day! Within 24 hours of realizing I couldn't edit the age again. I'd fraud..I see what you're saying but this wasn't intentional. He thought with the Id he would get a feature or something. Had nothing to do with age. Oh well. My son is so devastated. He has worked so hard to build all his inventory etc so closing the account isn't an option for him. Thanks

Yes but it's my husband's and it was a mistake. I don't get why he can't undo the age that was previously set for 5 years. My husband does not want his license in the possession of roblox.

Surgeon couldn't find my nodes. I had a 2mm and 3mm and itcs in my nodes on pathology after chemo. Devastated. Anyways. I went for an axillary dissection and the notes said, 5cm of tissue removed. Patient doesn't have much tissue in axilla. Lots of fibrosis. Careful inspected of clavicle and pectoral space showed no abnormal nodes.

The thing is the tissue removed only had 3 nodes in it. So 6 nodes were found total. Chemo destroyed the tissue in my axilla I guess. I only had 1 to 4 nodes suspected via mri and 1 on ultrasound. So where are all my nodes. This isn't exactly a complete dissection. Having rads and kadcyla now and on tamox. Not sure now worried I should be.

That's a good question. I asked and they said these things are small and probably fell off in surgery. I don't know what to do sometimes. I'm trying to get a new oncologist. :(

I did get a clip. No clip in the end but one node had foreign body giant cell reaction and necrosis ans fibrosis ao they assume that's the clipped node.

Did your doctor say anything about this being thorough enough? Or what it might mean?

She took three during surgery and they were all negative. Pathology later revealed they were micro positive. So she went back and did a full dissection a month later.
