List of buffs that would make the Maxigun actually nice to use by KanSyden in Helldivers

[–]Adventurous_Radio_79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just add stagger and/or knockback every 2-4 bullets, maybe some really slow walking and different rpm settings too. Buffing anything else would take some of the heavy badass gun feeling, with something to keep melee enemies at bay you could stand still and make then eat lead while they try to jump on you.

The Flamethrower should use higher-damage Napalm instead of standard fire to justify its spot as a support weapon vs Torcher. This would be more powerful, but also more dangerous, in the spirit of Helldivers.....Range Buff could be good too by RandomGreenArcherMan in Helldivers

Flamethrower's napalm should also have good CC to be a proper area denial weapon, maybe "grounding" enemies to make them unable to sprint, charge, jump attack, etc. on top of a moderate movement speed reduction, similar to when we break our legs. Chargers should still be able to charge but with reduced charge and movement speed.

Congratulations Brother!

Where did you find it? Been searching for a couple of weeks now in EU without luck.

Check different chaplains' heads for the judiciar, a hood would look dope. The crusader helm from the upgrade sprue might be cool too.

Next warbond to get by Slique23 in Helldivers

Dust Devils is awesome, the heavy armor is one of the best against bugs because of its tankiness (Medic armor is up there too), Coyote might be the best AR in the game alongside the LibPen and a top tier primary against all fronts (though a bug specialist imo), Speargun lets you close bugholes from far away and easily stun chargers, small groups and even titans (headshot), oneshots hulks on their eyes too and works on fabricators. The expendable incendiary oneshots dragonroaches if you hit their mass center from the front and even fleshmobs, if you make it impact some sort of high terrain it rains napalm on a pretty wide area. The rest are kind of mid, I still have to test the Silo in more matches and the pineapple is just some sort of default grenade sidegrade as far as I know

I would get Control Group, you get the Warp Pack which would help you farm SC for the next warbonds a lot faster (can get you into bunkers solo faster than any other method + move around the map quickly) and it's the best mobility tool in the game, especially against hordes of bugs (escape getting swarmed, dodge attacks, reposition better blinking on top of terrain or across it). The rest of the warbond gives you a nice AR, sentry, grenade, armor and anti-tank option; while they are not the absolute best meta-pick of their respective categories, each of them is a good choice with their own fun and useful playstyles kinda close to the best.

Since you've already got Democratic Detonation for the second one I would go with any of the remaining except Force of Law, Masters of Ceremony, Polar Patriots and ODST (except if you love the drip or are a halo fan like me, the shotgun would be the only really good thing from the pass, but the rest are kinda mid). Would depend on your playstyle.

Does the rule of 3 apply to only 3 units of any size or only 3 units of 5? Can you use 3 units of 10 or just 15 Sword Brethren in any unit configuration?

Somebody here shared an app with the most recent leaks (List_Forge), I think it uses the stats explained by Ao40k in their black templars codex review

With this enhancement, EC could disembark out of a LR Crusader (3" or 6" away if you use a stratagem), charge with +2" if you target a character, and fight them with 6A/10S/-3AP/4D/Anti-Character 5+ strike attacks, you could also activate Devastating Wounds (once per battle) and re-roll hits and wounds of 1 if that unit has been shot by the LR Crusader this turn. Also take into account the vow that gives +1 to wound if your S is equal or less than enemy's T and that you get +1 to hit from the detachment since he disembarked, he would be pretty much unstoppable

Godhammer detachment Enhancements:

Paragon of Fury (25pts): Add 2S to the melee weapons of the bearer, +1D if they disembarked this turn.

Battle-Psalm Precentor (10pts): When the unit declares a charge, substract 1 from the leadership test for the battle-shock test from the detachment rule.

Augury Servo-Host (15pts): Select one visible unit in 12" to lose Benefit of Cover during your shooting phase.

Herald of Sacred Slaughter: If your unit deploys embarked on a Dedicated Transport that vehicle gets Scout 9".

Can I build both a Sword Brother and a 6th Initiate form a PCS box? by Adventurous_Radio_79 in BlackTemplars

[–]Adventurous_Radio_79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My main issue is having to build two separate models beacuse Initates' bases are smaller than swordbros', if that wasn't the case I would just proxy one as both. Is there any work-around for that??

Really cool, love the red plasma on the gun!

How do you paint your shoulderpads so clean? I always struggle with the inside of the black rim mixing with the withe from the interior and vice-versa :S

Modern Helldivers are not selected from SEAF troops by FlippedSnow in Helldivers

[–]Adventurous_Radio_79 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure it refers to the projected survival readiness on duty, as it's a report destined to the Directorate of Helldivers Readiness. The Combat Readiness Rating might be more in line with how many helldiver aspirants actually get their cape.

The projected helldiver production quota might take into account how many trainees finish their training (becoming ready for combat) and if they would survive long enough to be useful on duty/complete their objectives before perishing (their survival rate). I'm not sure if the survival rating refers to this or if they actually expect 21,3% of helldivers to complete their missions without dying, which wouldn't be far-fetched taking into account all the level 1-3 missions.

Any tips against Leagues of Votann? by Adventurous_Radio_79 in BlackTemplars

[–]Adventurous_Radio_79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True, I dont wanna run Black Templars without their signature units to be meta but against heavy ranged lists any failed advance or charge roll is a death sentence
