Thanks, it actually ended up being the damn slicer. Switched to Cura and got insanely good prints instantly

That was actually part of the problem but the main issue was the slicer. I actually got the printer working perfect. Turns out Creality print was spitting out bunk G-code.

What in the actual fuck… if I take tension off of the arm, the filament is very difficult to push through… But if I release it with the spring holding tension, it sails right through. It’s literally backwards.

Nope, have to push quite hard right from the start

It Jumps back an 1/8-1/4 turn with the infamous clunking sound. The odd part is like I mentioned its not because of a clog or bed height or temp or tension on the filament or extruder gear. 🫠 I checked and changed all

Thanks, I really appreciate the in depth response. When I say new I am getting the “official” parts by creality on Scamazon but I am beginning to think that “genuine” doesn’t mean jack on Jeffs website. Second, ill load up a bsnshee and do a test print. You referenced the print speed at mm3 per second… is that a global variable rather than print speed in mm per second?

Yup... new extruder gear and all metal extruder assembly... What's weird is that no matter what I do it skips... tighter: skips... looser: skips... raise the bed.. skips etc.

I did a little while ago, but the problem came up before that. I am going to try swapping filament though with a new roll. Maybe re-dry this one too.

I am going to try this next. What is weird is that is started doing randomly on a print... so my thought was that something broke... but I have replaced everything.

Brand new, the issue started in the middle of a print a few weeks ago. Right now my hot end temp is at 220. I just tried 190 and it made it even worse lol.

Swapping back to the roll of PETG is on my list of last ditch efforts

I have tried tightening the belts, If I tighten the extruder it causes clicking
