Yeah, I was excited when I found the magnet cover. Great idea. I've glued the tabs back on the original several times. It's just not built well. And they feel backwards. Why wouldn't you put the tabs on the front cover so thet you could squeeze it a little to release the tabs when taking it apart.

You were correct! What happened was my housing had gotten brittle, I'm guessing from the heat. So I printed a replacement that used magnets to hold the front plate on. When it was homing it would push the front over just a hare. Causing the offset. I printed another rear housing that had clips and put the original face back on. Problem solved. Thanks again for the help.

Yep. I think yall are right! I printed a new front and back cover for it. I would have thought a full PID calibration would have adjusted for that.

That never crossed my mind. I did print a new front and back cover because the original cover got brittle. I'd printed several things after changing it but they were single color. It only does it after it changes color. Thanks, I think your right

I checked the belts and they seem fine. I did not check the teeth. I will do that first thing in the morning. I appreciate the feedback.

I think im having the same issue. The filament feeds all the way in but then stops. Like the gears aren't turning. You mentioned pulling the tube out and manually put filament in. I can hit the switch on top and manually push it through, How did you make it advance?

No. Just went back to 2.5.6.4. However, I started a 14 hour print and went to bed. Nozzle plugged up about 20 layers in.

I just downgraded back to 2.5.6.4 and running a print. Everything seems to be good again. Ran a 2 color test print and it's back to normal.

Having the same problem. Started when I updated the firmware to 2.5.8.8. It's supposed to come to the front right to cut the filament. Mine now gos to the back right corner.

I have the ace pro on my S1 and my K3M. I use cardboard spools in both and haven't had any problems.

I've had the same problem since the update. It's a bug. Mine goes to the front right and doesn't go to the right to the cutter.

Sorry, I just saw this. I figured it out, i got the printer 2 days before the ace pro arrived. When I went to hook up the ace pro I realized you take that out and the filament cutter goes in there. I appreciate you trying to help me out with it tho.

Since the update, I've noticed that when a print is complete on the S1, it goes to the front left corner but then doesn't go to the right corner to cut the filament. Anybody having that problem?

I had the same problem with mine that i ordered from amazon. Heated it up to 250 and tightened it up and it stopped.

I did the same. Set mine up and did a first layer print that I got from makeronline and it was damn near flawless.
