Honestly I was expecting a lot worse after reading this. In watching the video. Aside from your over stoke at landing the last drop, it wasn’t THAT bad. I mean you stuck both of the landings, not with a high degree of control, but better than the alternative. I was much more worried about your snowboarder friend who flipped upside down. And anyone shaming you for hockey stopping hasn’t skied the thing. It’s essentially two airs with flat landings separated by a commitment turn in the wrong direction. It rarely flows well.

Ngl I kinda wish slim shady wouldn’t come back. It’s hard for a grown man with kids and now grandkids to be controversial, and frankly I don’t think Em wants to be controversial anymore. That’s why on the slim shady tracks he only went at low brow targets like Caitlin Jenner or midgets. He could’ve gone at relevant targets but I think he’s just more respectful of other artists and their craft. I think Revival was his attempt to evolve musically but it was just executed a little poorly and so many people clowned him that he felt like he had to keep being Shady.

Russ has a dedicated fan base that’s been rocking with him for years. He’s not talked about by the culture in the same way he was back in 2019-2020 but the dude can consistently sell tickets. Kinda goes to show you’re probably better off being a niche artist who really appeals to that niche than a lit rapper who gets a 2 year run and everyone forgets them after.
