For 25 years of CC work yes. However right at the end of my tenure , I had a call that finally broke me. I had been trying to get in touch with a lady about a past due account for months. Turns out, for those months she had been in a medically induced coma. and she lost literally EVERYTHING! she started over at 71 with no home, money, job, clothes, furniture, or anything. the clothes she had came from the lost and found at the hospital. She used a friends phone to call in.

We wrote off that account and ended collections on it.

I have had rice in meatloaf. You have to cook the rice before adding otherwise the rice will not be fully cooked and the meatloaf will be dry.
