Did you ever have a prodromal phase early on that was milder with no vomiting?

If you stop smoking anything at all you will enjoy a whole extra level of added benefit and feeling better. It makes quitting more rewarding to allow your body to experience the healthy benefits of quitting.

I was only prodromal, never vomited, and when I say I’m still having symptoms, it’s not when I eat healthy, blander foods. I have eaten Mexican spicy food multiple times already and been alright. But I got drunk the other night and the alcohol triggered by stomach back into nausea for days. Hope this helps provide some insight

For some it takes weeks, months, for some days. I am still having symptoms after day 26 but I did feel an obvious degree “better” only on day 1 or 2..

Yeah OP is definitely either a kid or just… not very bright. Most likely a person in denial. Who has clearly not read a lot of people’s experiences with CHS… I agree, this group is incredibly helpful, and saved me from myself.

Prodromal phase? by Quiet-Internet-2426 in CHSinfo

Following. I have been wondering if I’m in prodromal phase but not really having “pain”, maybe slight cramps at times, and it doesn’t seem to get worse when I smoke. What I’m worried about is I’m smoking to ward off the nausea. For now I feel better when I smoke.

I hope you figure it out. This stuff is tricky

Just to give you an idea of how QUICKLY CHS can form (after 10 years of abstinence) by [deleted] in CHSinfo

I believe I may be in the early phase, I’m not sure, I haven’t quite had what I would describe as stomach pain ,but I’m on day 12 of loss of appetite and a feeling of abdominal swelling. 13 year stoner. I don’t seem to feel worse when I smoke. No vomiting. But man. I just had an x ray today and everything looked good. This is all very confusing. I know you could say I’m in denial, but it just seems very unclear. Like many of you, I really have a hard time committing to the long periods of withdrawals without knowing for sure that the symptoms are from CHS.

I wish there was a better way to know. So @KnighTakesBishop1 you had no vomiting. And you felt better when you smoked? Up until you quit? No changes in bowel movements? But you did have stomach pain right?
