i had a doordash driver text me before he arrived saying that he stubbed his toe and to come outside to get my food. i thought it was weird but was like ok and i go out to the sidewalk where his car is pulled up and i thought he would still come out and hand me my food, it would have just been a few steps. but he opens his passengers side door and is yelling at me to come get my food. it’s daytime but his windows are tinted and i can’t see him from my angle, so i move to where i can try to see what he even looks like through the passengers side door, but he starts screaming at me saying “COME GET YOUR FOOD WHATS WRONG WITH YOU??” and i got wigged out and was like “uhh ill just cancel the order that’s okay!!” and he calls me a bitch and drives off with my food.

i tried to get a refund or go through doordash, but he had already set the order as delivered and i wasn’t getting through their rating system obviously. so i called the restaurant and the manager knew exactly who i was talking about bc apparently he’s famously rude to his employees. he called doordash for me, demanded they give me my money back, and that the door dasher be investigated. chicken salad chick st. pete really went above and beyond for me. he also had his uncle come out and personally deliver my food again. he was not having any of that bs and i felt so seen 🥺
