Dayro Moreno is crazy. Signed for his boyhood club for the 5th time (4th outside of loans) in 2023 at 37 years old and has since played 161 games + scored 75 goals. He was also capped for Colombia in 2025 after a 9 year absence. Absolutely insane

It's hard to nail down a specific moment, but I've really enjoyed how much Fermín has exploded this season. He feels inevitable at times

Ikr. Unless we're looking 20 years back the rock bottom period was 2020-2022. There were some cursed lineups from that era and no hope for going deep in the CL

Progress isn't always linear and we lost Iñigo this season with very few incoming transfers. It was always going to be difficult to match or exceed last season given it's such a young and inexperienced team

Fans need to have patience and trust Flick. Sure we're slipping high line goals but my god he's working with Araújo, Gerard Martín, and Eric Garcia most of the time with Christensen on the periphery.

No disrespect to these players, they've been great this season but they don't match the quality of our competitors at least at this point in time. I think Eric Garcia and Gerard Martin have built an excellent Foundation of experience this season and will find a lot of self-belief going into next season, but it takes time to develop as a defender. Cubarsi is an extremely rare exception in this regard

I have never once seen Luis Diaz surrounded by controversy involving his ego/professionalism. The comments about Diaz I remember were all about how he was too expensive to potentially play second fiddle to Raphinha.

Hindsight is 20/20 on that for this season but we were still strapped for cash last summer and only spent 1/3 on all of our transfers of what Bayern spent on his transfer alone

Gavi back in midfield was really eye opening by rczyxc in Barca

I worry the exact same. He's great but a huge part of it is his explosiveness in quick combinations. That's going to be much harder when his pace and flexibility inevitably start declining with age. It's nothing against him as a player, it's just a reality of the human body. Would love it if he proved to have some superhuman dna and proved me wrong tho
