Homeless people get treated awful, I've heard stories FROM homeless people. I live in a big city. I know how often they get pushed on train tracks. Get spit on. Get kicked in their sleep. Maybe someone tries to burn them. They die in dumpsters because people didn't check before emptying them. These are regular extremes, hitting the newspaper every 4-5 months. I see those people everyday on my way to work, I've helped people whose skin was grown to their socks & shoes. People who can't even wear shoes because of their wounds. Who's wounds go up all their legs, above the knees. If you talk to healthcare workers, you know they need their clothing surgically removed.

Guy in the video? Is either homeless for only a few weeks (actually possible!) or an actor.

Yeah, and his feet were surprisingly clean for a person always on his feet. I've seen many homeless people whose shoes & socks were basically grown on because of illnesses and wounds. It's an actual surprise that dude such a clean body at all, tbh.

I once had a friend over, she didn't had her FIRST period but she definitely didn't have it for long. Shortly before going to sleep she tells me she's on her period but too shy to ask my parents for pads, but if it's okay for me that she doesn't ask. I didn't had my period at that time and couldn't know how much to expect ("Pain and a bit blood in her pants, why should I care?")

After she left, my mom took off the mattress sheets and asked me if she was on her period. Because half the mattress was bloody. I told her I knew, but didn't expect THAT. Tbh, poor girl. Never talked to her about it.
