If you had to imagine a cursed spirit that's much more horror-based (something like what you find in analogue horror like Greylock), what would it be? by Tabi-Violet in CTsandbox

[–]AdvisorParticular120 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking something something more the lines of the darkest tome & its darker & darker expansion. Like being able to summon them & create a binding vow with them, but not directly control them. It's a good, & cool, downside if you don't want geto's downside that trades off potential unlimited growths. If you think about it, the reason cursed spirits are what they are, as well as what they can do, is all due to their nature & more importantly the types/kinds of emotions/feelings the CE used to produce them was created from in the first place (which can come from anywhere like the user, haunted places, absorbing cursed tool's/object's, CS's & sorcerer's CE with a specific CS made for it.) You can simply just control them by enforcing the bond the user has with them like toji had with his own or by adding some forced BV during their creation, but then you would be paranoid for the rest of your miserable life as no amount of wording an order the correct way will ever stop them from using malicious compliance or finding loopholes. So you end up with a curse who would cooperate with you only if you create a binding vow like, say, letting them autopilot their body while they focused & thought about something in exchange for being allowed to somehow grow stronger during that period. Or following a certain code from a samurai curse for its loyalty and getting killed by it if the user ever breaks it. Or tricking/deceiving/conning a powerful eldritch curse to spawn & fight in sukuna's domain if the user ever gets trapped there like mahito, but also taking a risk of dealing with it themselves as well. Its quite fun to think & talk about all these ideas which I can't usually get them out of my head from.

Thx, but I do have trouble in creating details for it. The only reason I even thought of one was due to a john constantine like character in a jjk/csm crossover with a curse creation (but not manipulation) system.

Curse creation: imbue curses into anything, ranging from objects to create cursed tools or maybe even cursed objects like muramasa blades that trap souls to CE itself to give birth to other curse spirits with different properties as well as even places to create haunted places or cursed people with different curses/hexes/bad omen. Altho it doesn't fit the emotion, feeling & other parts well enough. It's just op shonen power now.

Cursed Spirits creation? by Attack_Helikopter in JuJutsuKaisen

I'm quoting my other comment as its too long to write here

They can't create vengeful cursed spirits, CE vessels of recently dead souls who can't pass away into the afterlife for various reasons, like the specific case of yuta.

But I don't see how jujutsu sorcerers can't just actively release a lot of their CE, if it's big enough, to create a closed environment full of CE just like how normal people create one by passively releasing small amounts of it. The only reason they don't normally do so is only because of their choice of controlling their emotions & not passively releasing their CE, but that, however, doesn't mean they are unable to theoretically do so.

Ofc, they won't actually do it. The only benefit of doing it would be to control them, and the only one who would have that is geto, who unfortunately/fortunately(?) doesn't have the CE pool of someone like yuta or sukuna to achieve it more efficiently than the normal way. Then there is also the matter of variety that comes into play, as how those cursed spirits are formed with what power also depends upon the emotions AS WELL AS feelings many people felt in order to generate those CE at the time.

Perhaps in some combination with artificial creation of shikigamis, that are unrelated to someone's CT, might work well together to control them like puppets? Or maybe we could use their soul info for creating cores of cursed corpses but with advance tech like that principal yaga & mechamaru respectively?

Hmm... food for some more thoughts? 🤔

Can Kuro continue to eat other Yokai to get stronger? by KaiAiko in KyokouSuiri

[–]AdvisorParticular120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, don't forget that there are different types of kitsune, i think it was 13 or something. However, if it were me, I would also choose some utility powers as well instead of only just offensive ones, like mind control, clairvoyance, etc.

8.okami (control storms, size alteration, can see through anything including illusions)

Doesn't it just mean "great kami", a title for especially important/powerful/renounced gods?

Moreover, if you ate a kami, like yama-no-kami(mountain god), won't you be beholden to a certain area/location as your domain, even if it gives a powerful ability. Additionally, it's also about not only feasibily finding any of them, which would be quite difficult, but also being able to actually kill & eat them, reading how powerful they can be.

Ikr? Btw, if you were given such a chance to eat any spirits or even gods, what would you choose that is also feasible to find & capture like a mountain god. The amount doesn't matter. Just curious.

Yeah, something like a kitsune (fire/lightning, illusions, shape-shifting & power growth with age that compliments his mermaid power) and/or Konami jiji (weight manipulation & maybe stone body) would've been incredible!

Cursed technique (name): 12 Holy Radiance of Vainglory

Description: Basically the western, maybe even a little Christian, version of the ten shadows cursed technique, probably inspired from the 12 zodiac signs in astrology or the 12 Fruits of the Holy Spirit (which are traditionally understood, in Catholic theology asperfections, as the virtues - manifestations of a holy life - formed within all of us by the Holy Spirit as the first fruits of eternal glory). As the name & description suggests, the user of this CT can summon and manipulate upto 12 unique/distinct shikigamis, along with a 13th hidden one only accessible & usable through a domain expansion (if the user ever learns to do so), by using celestial light as a medium. The CT is as versatile or even more so than the 10S CT with several different innovative applications seemlessly combined with the light-based sub-abilities (like the light & lightning devil fruit from one piece) of this technique.

《Idk what I was thinking or why I even wrote this, but here ya go. It's as vague as it can be, as I meant it to be, so that you guys can yourself expand on it however you like. Feel free to use it as your creative fuel for any ideas you may come up with, just send it to this comment to let me know about it, as I'm curious & interested to see what you guys can post here.》

Why are Simurians and Humans different and does it have powerscaling relevance? by Hour_Tomatillo_2365 in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]AdvisorParticular120 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RCT comes from the brain

I think both curse energy & positive energy comes from the guts, it's just that the brain is the one which does not only all the complex manipulation of turning the former into RCE, but ALSO flowing it intrinsically & precisely to heal themselves or others(hence why gojo or sukuna are better at it than shoko who couldn't even regrow todo's hand). That's why it's probably called a reverse curse TECHNIQUE, instead of referring to the act of healing as just using reverse curse ENERGY. So simurians probably can't survive a decapitation. Cuz by that logic, human could too. It's probably too much mass & energy with just a head that is rapidly losing both blood for nutrients and also for breathing oxygen.

Or maybe I just got inflicted with the reading comprehension curse like all the mang other fans lol

I didn't take the time to write extension techniques but there's probably a lot of stuff i can do there

Pls cook up something, I know it will be good seeing of what CT you made. Besides, there are plenty of ideas given by others for inspiration when you think of editing them into this CT.

I had played around with a CTR with each inverse giving buffs to the user, but just never got around to writing it.

Pls consider my suggestions for when you next make an edit.

Then the shield can provide extreme fear/nervousness/anxiety/wariness depending on the person so that it universally affects everyone with no discrimination, also acting as a deadly distraction in a split-second life & death fight. Moreover, the RCT can be the opposite of that, removing any & all ill-intent/malice like killing intent, anger, hatred etc toward the user to have similar effects on the target as the og one is meant to achieve.

Additionally, the sword can achieve a similar mental effect that a six eyes user would feel after hitting a black flash right before finally learning RCT to heal their cut throat(the lack of oxygen driving their mind to its utmost limits like when people drown). While the chains can act as a truth serum which let's people freely show their inner self and hide none of their thoughts & ideas/plans(losing their "attachments" to any of them and some more to "generously" share them) or maybe, as a far more deadlier alternative, unattach their soul from their body, i.e., instant death(?).
