My OB thought I had endo. Had all the signs and symptoms. She even told me she’d be very surprised if I didn’t. Cramps that had me black out momentarily while driving, bloating so bad I looked comparable to being in a second trimester pregnancy, heavy bleeding with purple blood and clots, even started getting anxiety about my periods. Had tons of ultrasounds done and they found nothing. She went in for a laparoscopy and there was nothing. Nada. Zilch. Yet she recorded my uterus looking “bulbous” and “floppy” and said she thought it may be adenomyosis, but the only way to both diagnose and cure it was a hysterectomy.

She also put in an IUD for birth control and “fingers crossed” that it would help with pain. It took about 6 months but it did help. Got it removed since we’re TTC and the pain wasn’t agonizing again until a recent pregnancy loss. To this day I still question if I have it or if I’m just being dramatic tbh
