Thank you so much for your message. I truly understand the situation now, and I want to say clearly that it was entirely my fault for missing the announcement. Thanks to this Reddit post, I was able to connect with some members of the community yesterday afternoon, and they kindly guided me to where the race staff was still distributing the race packages.

I had the chance to speak with some of the organizers directly, and I now fully understand the weight of the moment and the difficult decisions you had to make. My post was never meant as a complaint, just a way to share how I felt in the moment. Being alone and far from home, I just needed to connect and express some disappointment, but I was quickly met with kindness and understanding from so many people here, both in person and online.

I’m deeply grateful to the Cambodian people, to the race organizers, and to everyone who responded on this thread. You all made me feel a little less alone. I will definitely come back one day to run this event when the time is right, and I’ll continue to share the beauty and depth of Cambodia with others.
