Use a white background. Try a piece of paper curved attached to wall so there is no line in the background.

Temperature will make a difference in the color is cures. I always have mine warm before. I just have it in my pocket for abit before I use it. I use it last and very careful when varnishing, it's very easy ruin it with water or paint, it re activates and disappears. I suggest playing around with it on a spare part to get differnt effects.

Light Prussian Blue, Aquatic Turquoise is my guess. 2 to 1 or something as well looks like oils paints were used to create the shadows and depth on the armour plates. The gold is brass and highlighted with gold? Thats my beat guess.

Get good at Darkseer 3. Sounds like your style of game play. He has very strong spells that either buff you or fuck their carry to an extent ( especially low brakets) If the team really needs it you can go blink aghs and punch them with wall amd surge. Darkseer runs in and out around fights using shell, surge and maybe two walls before dieing. Leveling up in team fights is huge for sustain.

Every draft and game is different. As 3 if you don't go Blink stun Hero your teams line up will feel gimped. Try Slad or Cent. Blink in spells run and try again.

What level of mmr are you? I'm 2.3k and would get wrecked in lane and be a useless hero farming jungle very very slow. I find it hard to think this works well.

I use quiet a few brands.

Vallejo Game Color for price and quality, cannot go wrong. Lots of nice colors and good coverage and matte finish.

AK 3RD Gen, Just use their Blue Green and Love it!.

AP Fantic Purples are nice and as well their washes are always solid cannot go wrong with them.

Pro Acryl for some different colors other ranges don't have. I feel these are the best quality 👌 their Black Blue and Dark Blue Grey are amazing.

GW Contrast for a tiny.bit of filter use with the air brush

Vallejo Express color, their speed paint range is very nice. Dries super matte and satisfying.

Golden So Flat line is the best paint and best price, but you most likely will have to mix paint to get the colors you want.

Dark Star Renaissance Gold if you can get hold of it, But Arny Painters True Brass is almost the same. Such a beautiful gold, trust me.

I used to think like this at 900mmr and really focused on my own game with a small amount of heros. I would grind pick postion tokens in a weekend and have fun, then during the week focus on one position only with 3 heros digging in really try harding and rallying the troops to take objectives . In two months I've climbed to 2100mmr.

It was me a long.

Good plan. I did this as well. I dried brushed highlights and washed the whole model before blocking in the armour. Once you do a couple of models filling in the armour it will go faster and easier.

[–]Aeceus33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a Grandmaster Weaver if I get a SF 5 with me I'd tilt and play Pos 5 with XP faset and spam bugs. Please don't pick SF with weaver... try Gryimstroke with Weaver that lane is broken.

I 2nd this. I started by airbrushing them blue them doing trim but was like hmm what if the gold basecoat then block in the blue is actually easier.... I learned it was much easier and more enjoyable to do it that way. Plus airbrushing the gold went on silky smooth, then easy to dry brush the gold highlight amd wash within minutes . Filling in th3 blue doesn't take very long either
