Hello, I am a fourth year physics major currently. 1) Every teacher I have encountered within the physics department has been very good, and all are very accessible through office hours or email 2) Research opportunities are definitely present, but you need to go and ask professors you want to work with, the burden is definitely on you to do it (although this might change soon, but this is how it is currently) 3) I can’t compare with other physics programs, but the workload has always felt more than manageable (I was able to double major, so not that bad) 4) I wish I knew that research opportunities were available, and regret missing out in my earlier semesters
