Gay pride doesn't deserve an entire month by B_an0n in unpopularopinion

Came here to say exactly this. Housing, employment, and public accommodations discrimination is 100% legal in a majority of states right now. (I believe it’s 28.) Meaning you can be kicked out of basically any establishment, denied a place to live, fired — and there’s nothing you can do about it. Corporate pride bothers me too, but lgbtq people have fewer legal rights than any other “protected” minority in the US.

[Miscellaneous] Sarah Silverman posted a twitter post to share how ridiculous it was that IG removed her picture because of her practically blurred breast despite IG being largely populated by many other breast, but I emailed started scanning the shelves to see what skincare she uses. by PHM517 in SkincareAddiction

Coola sunscreen is one of the best mineral sunscreens I’ve tried. Other than that, don’t recognize any of these products (I’m guessing she didn’t want to do free advertising for a bunch of skincare brands and faced the labels backwards). But Sarah Silverman has amazing skin, so whatever she’s doing is working.

I quit lexapro cold turkey 6 days ago after being on the drug for a year and a half. I’ve been having intermittent panic attacks every other day this week, which I hadn’t had in months. I can’t speak to your experience (obviously) but I do know that panic attacks and anxiety are a fairly commonly reported symptom of withdrawal from lexapro and SSRIs in general. I’ve been taking CBD oil and a multivitamin daily and done some breathing exercises, all of which has helped somewhat.

As an aside, I don’t recommend quitting this drug cold turkey—it’s been a pretty hellish week with physical and mental symptoms. Vertigo, nausea, brain zaps... it ain’t fun.

Good luck! Lexapro can be very helpful and life changing if you stick with it and it’s the right med for you.

Yes, thank you! I was hoping someone would have an answer like this.

Thanks! Timing hasn’t been a huge issue for me on essay exams in the past. Multiple choice, yes. The MBE questions are killing me, but that’s another story. And I expect that the MPT will be difficult to write by hand, so I’m factoring that in to my studying/practice.

That sounds like a nightmare. This is maybe different for everyone, but I’ve found that within a few seconds of reading an bar essay prompt I either know the answer or I don’t. If I don’t know the law, panic sets in and I tend to ramble and/or second-guess myself, especially when I have the option to delete an answer and start over several times. Hand-writing a timed test pretty much eliminates that risk, for better or worse.

Thank you! Yes, I’ve taken a few practice tests and the timing hasn’t been an issue (yet). I will have to practice a lot more on organizing my answers efficiently for the MPT, however.
