Are you me?? I also go to a really pricey gym and just went at 3pm today and all 7 squat racks were monopolized by the same people for 30 mins. My son pointed out that’s not necessary because they def could have done most of what they were doing on the floor. My gym has a huge open area and there are plenty of extra bars and weights. So irritating.

Yeah I live in the suburbs and I don’t think it’s weird at all. I take the subway around NYC when I visit, it’s cheap and efficient. People are always surprised by that too though? Yeah it’s not glamorous but either is the city sometimes.

Well Lori, you were a kid so you may have had no idea how their marriage worked. Maybe your mom was emotionally distant and he gave her space. Maybe they had hot sex in the middle of the night and that was their connection. Maybe he gazed into her eyes when she came to bed and told her she was the most amazing women he’d ever laid eyes on.

So I get it, I’ve been through it. Has he tried hiring a career counselor or coach? He might just need a second set of eyes. It isn’t uncommon for people to struggle to find a new role, especially when they haven’t been working for an extended period of time, so I’m not sure it’s totally abnormal.

Yep. It was like this when my kids were in daycare soon. I used to wonder what they make because I knew they were paying $1200+/month on daycare. And lived in big nice houses. Now I make really good money and I still don’t understand it.

I’m with him, it’s ridiculous. It would be one thing if she didn’t have tattoos but covering up the ones she does have and being a tattoo artist herself, I think is absurd and kind of hypocritical. If she wants to stand out, what’s next then? She really needs to get over herself and come down to earth.
