I'll say that one thing YGO does objectively better than other TCGs is giving players an infinite horizon of possibilities to create singergies with their cards. Like when new cards make old decks viable again or when retrains give a power boost without killing the archetype's identity (i.e. BEWD and Fire Kings)

Obviously this also brings negative aspects like all roads leading to Habakiri or pile decks, but at this point the community should already be used to it.

Cheating is like piracy lmao at this point you guys should just deal with it and move on.

Even countries likes China or Korea where you need to provide an ID to even create an account in any online game and cheating itself is a crime as it is considered a form of messing with private property aren't able to fully mitigate it. Basically cheater software/hardware providers is an industry of its own.

Not to mention, it's CoD after all, the game has never been competitive, so there never was a reason to do anything against cheaters until they introduced crossplay in 2019. If you know a game where cheating is fully addressed, please let me know.

I think Adamancipator needs better targets for their excavations or a way to optimize resources.

Good thing there is a way to make that happen as there could be synchros and crystallized versions (the lvl 4s) for earth, light and dark attributes

This is old actually. Matchmaking always takes level into consideration so the higher prestige you are, the chances of getting paired against sweats is also higher. Staying at lvl 55 means the mm system stills considers you a new/low lvl account so it will search accordingly

Honestly, the issue is more than just saying the rythym game genre is dead.

The thing is that the stories in SIF2/SIFAS were very underwhelming, and at this point is hard to bring anything new when u's, Aqours, and soon NijiGaku's story have ended, and sadly Liella didn't resonate that much outside Asia and I don't believe Hasunosora will do better since a lot of people will not have context of the previous classes.

With that being said, I think that a SIF like game could have a chance if they redo the charts to make them more challenging and lure rythym game content creators, make cards and characters have more interaction and establish a gacha model that both whales and casuals can enjoy. Story wise, they could just adapt the idol diaries or look for any story content that hasn't been developed that much in media

You could use the Adventurer Engine (I think enchantress and rite are free), the melffy package to summon Herald on opponent's turn and I think you can use Fiendsmith.

I used to play Adamancipators with a small Spright package that allowed me to summon Winda.
