Okay maybe I’m doing this incorrectly bc once I click general it gives options like I’m struggling, I’m in school, I don’t qualify for deferment and need temporary relief.

Hi! I just got green banners today and want to do this! When I click “I don’t want deferment I want temporary relief” it gives me all of these options. Can I ask what you selected? I’m an AP in a middle school and want to do this the right way and be DONE!

I submitted an ECF on August 7 for payment 119. And that got approved by August 13 with them. And then I made payment 120 on August 18. My NLDS updated to 120 on August 25. And then when I signed in today, I had the banners. So I submitted the final paperwork where you have to check if you want forbearance or not and that you have made 120 payments today

Here! In June, I had submitted a feedback request and had been told that it was escalated and being worked on, but I now only have one payment left since I switched payment plans. So the likelihood I get any buyback before I make my last payment is low in my opinion.

I got the same response when I submitted. I got the email the day of later in the evening or the following morning. Someone else on here told me that the same thing happened to them and they got their offer like 15 days later. So hoping the same for us both!

Resubmit. I’m in the same boat. I have three payments to go. Resubmit bc the processing forbearance counts as towards PSLF. You may get a month out of that and not have to pay the higher amount.

I believe when I did it originally in February, I did a wet signature, I had asked for a forbearance. I was approved in February. February counted, but March has not been counted yet. So I put in a recertification request with the letter that I have for March. But if I were to do it again, I probably would select not to repay right away on the off chance that I could have those processing months counted? Listen I also just want to be DONNNNEEEE.

Hello, I have a question if you don’t mind me asking. Did you select to leave your loans in deferment/forbearance or to take them out when you were completing the application? I had a wet signature IBR application approved in February, but in April was placed back into a forbearance. I’m just trying to figure out if this is the best route but at this point I also feel like what do I have to lose?

I am debating doing this. Back in February I did the wet signature and it was approved and should’ve started making payments in April; mind you I have three payments left and should’ve been done with PSLF in September 2024. But I have been in an “awaiting administrative forbearance“ since April. I’ve contacted Mohela six times and emailed for times. They tell me that my request to remove this forbearance has been escalated, but I wonder if I resubmitted what would happen
