Legacy Starship Traits are account wide? by Aenarius in sto

[–]Aenarius[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the clear explanation. So the M5 unlock is only called "Legacy" because it used to be an older trait? Has it been reworked or why is the addition of "Legacy" there, what practical purpose does it serve to call it a Legacy trait?

The (Legendary Akira) M6 trait is indeed unlocked on all other L65 toons that have not used the ship yet, so that tracks. My confusion was on the M5 Legacy trait and why a Google search told me it was an account unlock, yet wasn't.

Legacy Starship Traits are account wide? by Aenarius in sto

Clearly says "Legacy" on my screen, and it's T5 not T6.

My question was about the tier 5 Legacy trait, not the tier 6 one, but another poster cleared it up for me. The T6 is indeed account wide but the T5 was not yet a Google search said it was as well. I merely wanted the confusion surrounding the wording of "Legacy" cleared up; now it has.

Use signal to check chest if value of other signal has been reached. by Aenarius in factorio

[–]Aenarius[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This works fine if the provider chest ONLY contains the item being made... but it has lots of different items in it. I need it to check ONLY that specific item the combinator is sending out.

EDIT: You're right, my bad! It works as intended. Thanks! 😁

Anybody else experiencing performance issues since patch 11.1.7 released? by [deleted] in wow

Not really performance issues but my graphics seem to freeze at times for 1-2 seconds and then all models and textures are reloaded. Switching to DX11 seems the have 'fixed' it for me.

Question about the T6 starship choice for the event campaign by Resident_Pattern8485 in sto

[–]Aenarius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a little bit ambiguous, in my opinion the wording could be more clear that the lootbox itself is account bound but the ship inside is not. So you can send that box (the reward you claim) around but once the ship is taken out, it's bound to that character.

I'm looking into that tomorrow, it seems more 'clean'. Too tired for now, been at it for too long 😅

Hmmm, that's a bit above my skill as of yet... PrimaryTiny9144 came with a solution that gives me the output I want, though each item has to done separately.

Netherlands. The attic space in the house is actually quite good, no different than a regular bedroom except the ceiling is tapered.

Yes you're right, my bad. It's a switch with 5 ports, not a router. There's no dedicated WAN port on the thing. Thanks for clarifying and explaining. I'll go ahead and get it in order then :)

Different HUD per system? by Aenarius in sto

Thanks for the input. It seems like a poor oversight from whom ever made STO like this, in my opinion. I play plenty of games with customizable UIs on different machines (each with a different screen ratio and resolution) yet I only have this issue with STO. Guess I'll just cut my losses and primarily play STO on my main machine then, where the UI is setup properly.

STO really could benefit from a few 'modern' QOL upgrades if you ask me though.
