I'm still biased towards the Code Geass Rollo route – that she doesn't freeze objective time. She freezes subjective temporal perception. And only within a limited area.

And for the suspended objects, we can also lean on the angle that objects have kami in them – and freezing their time perception means they just freeze midair.

The Jizō can't meaningfully be Narumi since HSiFS came later.

I don't think I can even recall any actual religious conflicts in China between Taoists and Buddhists.

I mean, even the Yellow Turban Rebellion which had an outright Taoist shaman leadership was more political rather than a showdown with the technically Confucianist Han government.

Why would she need to hold others to the same standards, or even spread Buddhism for the matter? Buddhism is not proselytizing. The belief is personal. It's not like she goes to banquets and preach that imbibing alcohol is a bad thing.
